Great Video! I was notified when KC tools released this advent calendar because I get these calendars for each of my kids and nephew for the last several years because my daughters prefer these tool advent calendars over chocolate. But one of my kids was looking at this years calendar with me right before I ordered them this year and said she didn’t want one because of the Christmas trees and the green wasn’t Wera green to match her other tools. I kind of have to agree I don’t personally care for the Christmas tree or the color I feel it makes the whole thing look like a $9.99 walmart Christmas special. So I guess we’ll be passing on all 4 calendars this year. I realize people collect these calendars. But my kids actually use the tools they get out of them because they are alway quality tools.
@@blackbird8632 My two youngest daughters are are 9 &10. and yes, they do use their tools building Arduino projects, working on bikes, quads etc which is why I’m willing to buy them decent tools and not Walmart Crap. So they dont touch my higher end tool on my truck or in the shop. Dont get me wrong they do have a few walmart tools still kicking around but they’re highly aware of the difference and can tell the difference between quality tools and cheep tool on there own in a store and willing to invest there own money to pay for something better if Im not willing to pay for a tool they know they’ll use frequently and want it to last. I’m sure them growing up in a family of heavy equipment and industrial mechanics doesn’t have anything to do with their opinions though.
Picked up two of these 10 mins after I got the notification from KCTool that they were available. One for my father and one for myself. Gonna wait until December to open. Right…. We’ll see if I can keep my hands out of it… I do notice those jokers don’t have the bolt/nut holder mechanism in them.
They’re just open ended with the multi position. Definitely not the same as the ratcheting and holding versions. They’re a kind of lightweight version.
I have the calendar, I also think the jokers are the coolest thing this year. However the fact that everything is stainless is also pretty cool. Think I’ll keep the driver and bits as a dedicated stainless kit. One thing you did not mention for some reason, these calendars are awesome value. Anyway merry Christmas from Denmark 😂
I am in the us and i work with a lot of Schnider Electric and the use a lot of pozidrive. It does come in handy for some. I actually really like using it.
like how they every year show the content on the back of the outer box and not on the actual calendar. Now that I have seen where everything is inside, I will leave mine in the box for the next 2 months. I have so many wera sets, that I did not really need the 2022 calendar for the content. Mostly just to add another limited edition wera bottle opener to the collection
@@MillisConstruction as far as I know they didn't do one last year and don't look like they're doing one this year. I have one from 2019, the one with the flexible magnet and 1/4" set. The 2020 one is my holy grail item, 3/8" set up to 24mm all in a tiny case, perfect.
It's a nice concept, but watching this video when you've ordered it kind of takes the fun out of it? But it's nice to see for those of us who won't be buying it at least :)
@@MillisConstruction wow thats crazy i never expected a reply from you but this makes me very happy... your channel is the reason that now im very into quality tools. First i starteted my electrician Apprentice with Cimco Tools and over the time i decided to give Knipex and Wera a try (Because of your recommendation with these tools). Now you can guess who is a way happyer Electrician trainee. I changed my whole toolbag and my work is so much easyer. Thank you so much for all your tooltips, the great Channel and the awesome Content.
@@MillisConstruction I think maybe in North America they only use the blue scheme. In Europe at least Green Bosch = Consume grade, Blue Bosch = Professional tools.
I'm very happy for you being a tool collector, but personally I'm not impressed like at all. Don't like the color combination. Classic black/green is the best, in my opinion. Would never buy it. Would be great to have some merch instead, like cups, pens, hats, etc.
FWIW both Mississauga Hardware and Federated Tool still have it in stock as of right now (18/09/22). I've got no relation to either company and they're both based in Canada - so the shipping will be a little more expensive but if you want one they got them. I know I can't wait until mine arrives and I get to open it over December 🪛🔧🎄
You are the coolest uncle I never had
You’re too kind 😁 great to have you here!
😂🤣😂
😂😂
The is THE unboxing of the year!
💯 🔥🔧😁
Mine arrived yesterday, looking forward to December to start opening the surprise doors. :)
Enjoy!! I like the Stainless touch with these and the Jokers are just slick little wrenches this time too and a decent set
@@MillisConstruction The Christmas color scheme will always be a great reminder as well.
Very unique product. Thanks
Well done for getting your hands on one, need Knipex and PB Swiss to join in!!
Oh that would be epic!
Thats the coolest thing ive seen! ❤
You sold me on this one. Great set for a service tech!

Saying they actually use the tools but at the same time care so much about the color is kinda conflicting.

Just ordered it of Amazon here in Sweden. Great stuff and interesting color scheme ☕
A giveaway would be super cool… especially to a young carpenter looking to build his tool collection who lives in an adjacent state to you 😂
Thanks, I got mine delivered today!
Enjoy!!! Apparently they’re almost gone in the Us 😅🔥🔧

Hopefully klein does something like this, I'd even like Halloween themed sets
I sooo need one of these
I want to get into wera tools what would be your 1st tool to start without
I thought it was Gonna Be Chocolate 🍫 😅
Hey I wouldn’t argue with chocolate tools either!
As a Canadian Electrician I hate getting Pozi-drive bits in these sets. Completely worthless for me, especially 2.
Pretty much here too in the US. I have to have them for commercial work but that’s it. A lot of Assa Abloy systems are pozi
I am in the us and i work with a lot of Schnider Electric and the use a lot of pozidrive. It does come in handy for some. I actually really like using it.
As an European electrician the only bits I use are pozi 1 and 2
50 quid in the uk, just bought to keep in the cupboard till December lol
I got mine a couple days ago and wanted to make a video but then got impatient so I opened it to use.
The trick is to buy 2 🤣🤣🤣 I’m an enabler I know

the advent calendars are always good value but this one seems lacklustre compared to previous ones, i think the 2017 one was best so far

Howdy Ted!!
@@MillisConstruction howdy Josef, great video💪💪💪
I buy these for family and friends every year. I’ve been adding one person per year and it’s getting really expensive!
still hoping to see a stahlwille calendar this year
They usually do one don’t they?

Apparently that’ll be a lot of people lol. They’re gone 😅
I did link a few on Amazon but KC is sold out for the year.
Where is the link?
Mine delivered the other day. $80 for a screwdriver, set of really small wrenches, and a bottle opener. 🤔
Usually a cheaper price than all these individually unless you’re not used to buying wera tools.
Here in Germany you get this for 55€
@@Jonathans_tech_thoughts yep you guys have the reverse issue, Klein tools there are crazy priced lol

I just buy a new tool every day instead 😂
The red and green is quite nice, but also makes everything look like Bosch's consumer brand.
Interesting. I don’t use much Bosch so I haven’t seen that color scheme 🤔

Green red is bosch's noob coloring 😄

Has anyone compared the LTT screwdriver to the Hazet 810R-4

Absolutely, they do different colors every year. I’m a big fan of the blue and white personally.
Is he trying to be like zach galifianakis or is zach galifianakis trying to be him? 🤷♀️
Damn … no pouch this year and really ugly colour 😢
