This clip is the perfect paradigm for humanity Capable of creating the most exquisite beauty but equally capable and willing to destroy what is beautiful. We're quickly becoming our own worst nightmare. Unfortunately in our rush to destroy ourselves we're going to take so much of what makes Earth beautiful with us.
I don't usually listen to opera music, but I actually think this is so beautiful to listen to, I could listen to it all day and never be bored of it because it's so pleasant!
The majestic score and Piau´s glorious voice invites you to go high, reach the sky and look down. So no wonder the video and it´s wonderfull images work so well with the music. A piece of art. Thanks for posting
I love this film and I love its music. Always liked Sandrine Piau's voice and this is another example of what she can express with her wonderful voice and way of singing
and also thanks to Yann Arthus Bertrand to choice this great music for the movie "HOME" . When I discovered the movie I began to cry exactly at that moment when the music had start !!! it was crazy inside me. Thanks thanks because it a really pure music and also for the voice.
Fantastic video! Watching this I couldn't determine whether the music makes the pictures even more amazing or if it's the opposite. The combination of these huge and beautiful images of Earth's natural and human landscapes and Vivaldi's transcendental, universal (both in the sense of cosmos and of human emotional universality) music makes a great impact. The ambientalist message gets even more striking with such a demonstation of how nature's and human's achievements together are even better.
No escucho música clásica pero, ver este maravilloso documental, con esta música increible me hace llorar como una criatura y toca las fibras más sensibles
Cum Dederit is taken from a section of Psalm 127 (Verses 2 - 3) in the bible. It is a Latin translation from the original Hebrew. It was composed in 1707 by George Friederic Handel in Italy and is part of the larger Nisi Dominus composition which encompasses the entire Psalm. It is thought to have first been performed 16 July 1707.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music, in this video! "The Video," gives me goospimpel, for wath we have dan, with.... "His World," and so ours,...Soli Deo Gloria!
let us all react in time and take good care of our beautiful, fragile planet! Breaks my heart seeing how we are destroying it... we won't have another one like this! Everything in it is just unique and a miracle. Will Mankind be intelligent enough to open their eyes before it's too late?
My favourite piece of choir music from Vivaldi which is both my favourite composer. Angelic music to make us reflect on climate change that threatens the world in these times of COVID-19

How can we claim to be conscious, loving or spiritual if we don´t recognise the deeper power within us that urges us to face and act upon the extreme world changes that are upon us? These require both INNER and OUTER preparation as recommended in The Great Waves of Change, a compelling message for the human family in these challenging times.

This is the Cum dederit from the Nisi Domunus of Vivaldi (RV 608). Händel did indeed also compose a Nisi Dominus, but it is not this work.
Handel was not able to compose works like of this level no matter how many years he stayed in the city of this composer.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music, in this video!

00:20 - Magnificent Shot worthy of this song.
@maharshi1893 Vivaldi was a master of italian baroque (venetian baroque, actually), like Porpora and many others.
💕🙏💕
@nanou for those we don't understand latin, could you please translate that? thanks!
@heleagimeno If you mean the author of the music, it's Vivaldi
good for u
