Question: do we need expensive (2000, 3000,...10000 dollar) cameras when AI can generate images for you based on prompts especially street photography?
@@photorabz I understand, but we have reached a stage when one cannot find a difference between an ai generated and "real" photograph. Is it the process of photography that gives you more happiness, or the use of the gadget that you are holding or something else? The X100VI is pretty pretty expensive, along with similar ones such as the Ricoh. The Leicas are beyond the reach of the mere mortals. In the end the photos one takes (especially street photography) are no different from using your mobile or a chepo film camera or an old dslr or an AI. Decades ago photography in general was niche, only a few had access to cameras. Now there are zillions of street photos. What makes the photos different?
When i click the shutter i make a second stays for ever. There is a story behind every photo and every street walk..here the camera x100vi is a gadget. Of course i can make a photo with my smartphone but personally i prefer not to use my phone for photos...a camera forces u to think when taking a shot... a dslr is a good option i used to do street photos with but its heavy and lots of lenses in the bag sometimes u miss a moment because you are thinking which lens to use..with cams like this x100vi fixed focal length you can see stuff u never saw in ur neighbourhood trust me

If you want to use ai to create an image that is not photography....that's called image ai generative based
