I love this style so much. The Summit Borderline/Drop in the Ocean album is a great refinement of this and was a huge personality influence on me in high school.
At last I have arrived. This would me my favorite evan's song. Special thanks out to Brad. I remember interpreting this song way back. He can sound a little confusing sometimes if you're not ready to sit on repeat. And no way is his voice whiney. Anyone saying that is jealous cause they can't replicat/ or just wanna hate. You hear anybody else filling his shoes? Just saying.
I agree with you 100% about Kevin making the band. His lyrics and voice were perfect for the band. The EB guys will never find someone who can replace what Kevin brought to the band, but Kevin can easily find other band members to play his music. I don't want to knock on his former band mates, but in my opinion they made a mistake by voting him out. Though there is probably more to it than any of us will ever know.
the new evans blue sounds like just every other rock band, evans blue was like so distinct, so much different with kevin. i miss it, because i like his stuff with EB better than parabelle
yeah it will. I've been screaming for a while now and it really takes a good amount of time to get into the groove of what you're doing. If you do it wrong you can strain your vocal chords and destroy your voice, happened to me once and I had to do therapy to get it back. Luckily mine injury wasn't serious enough to where it couldn't be corrected, but some people have had to go through surgery because they mess up their vocals so badly trying to scream when they don't know what they're doing.
Kevin Matisyn, WAS the band, and if you check the bands reason for kicking out Kevin it was because he was " a weak front man" Kevin's trying to balance being a musician and being a father, and the band couldnt handle that.
@VictoriaVenom Omgosh, you just included two of 3 of my fav bands in the same comment, basically calling them awesome beasts. For some reason, I feel proud. lol Of what, idk.
Dude, i've been doing some serious practicing and i've got star light down, but does anyone ever have trouble doing the screams in cold(but im still here)?
@coxjtc straight up rock is one thing, straight up soft is another...rock base with melodic vocals is something entirely in it's own league seperate from either. john mayor is definately NOTHING like old EB, and new EB is just as much nothing like the old. it was the perfect blend
@candi0y So is most metal though too. Depends on what kind of metal your talking about. (I don't believe in sub genres but Deathcore like Suicide Silence doesn't have nearly as good lyrics that arn't about death whereas old Mudvayne has amazing lyrics. Still do.

@VictoriaVenom I too am classically trained. Completely agree. However, he's not whiny he's Canadian- it's his accent coming through, ay.
Yeah, i kinda figured, thanks for the input tho :D
But would it do long-term damage if i forgot to warm up?
😎😘😘😎😘😎

@VictoriaVenom Ever heard Three Days Grace then? Great band aswell.
But I always CRUMBLE WHEN YOU CRY OVER ME?
does anyone have all the songs from The Stage is Set for the Revival of an Anthem, including the ones not uploaded to UA-cam? If so, please upload.
@VictoriaVenom Agree with you 100%
@Xeth42 i do. theyre really hard cuz i have to go out of my vocal boundaries just to get a word out.
"I WOKE UP IN THE COLDEST ROOM"?
@blueflamesarecool Same here, but i've been doing alot of screaming and stuff so it's getting easier

Evans blue has got mean as songs... Lol i only started listening to their songs today, before that i just listened to COLD!!
XD
He was going around saying "I AM the band" and things like that, which is why he was voted out.
@VictoriaVenom erase my scars= best song they made. and its without the old singer
I wish that Kevin's ego didn't go so high. Maybe they would still be together...oh well. This is an awesome song
@iiUnKn0wNzZ Evans Blue is a good band without Kevin but thats just it they are good but when they had Kevin they were amazing
I agree that he was. But you still can't go around saying it all the time. He was taking the band in a direction that they didn't want to go.
