I won't be comfortable with a woman with high body count. But at the same time sexual compatibility is important. Having partners in the past is okay. But, too high of a body count is not favourable.
It depends on context. If a man/woman used to be a playboy or playgirl and sleeping around for fun and cheated on their bf or gf then it is hard to expect loyalty. That is the issue.
