Several Cars Burn at Street Takeover in Pacoima

- PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5 (KNN) - Firefighters tackled flames consuming five vehicles ignited during a street takeover in Pacoima early Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division officers responded to a multi-vehicle fire at a street takeover at Paxton Street and Foothill Boulevard shortly after 4:30 a.m.
Officers cleared the takeover with a significant response of units. The LAPD requested that Los Angeles Fire Department personnel not enter the area until it was deemed safe.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames with one engine. One vehicle was found abandoned with smashed windows and no wheels...access the rest of the story on keynews.tv. Scroll to "Publications."

Underrated comment. My old lady does the hiring and with so many applications, she skips those with a record unless they were referred by someone we trust. And even then, they are skipped for promotions. But one of my boys with a record got a manager job at a 99 cents only store, so guess you can always find work at a retail or fast food with a record.😅😅😅

I worked in Pacomia in the 70s-80s and never had any problems. Had a shop in the same complex as Glenn's Auto Parts and KEM Battery on San Fernando Blvd. I got along fine there, and I was a blonde long haired white boy. But, I drove a custom 50 Ford Coupe that was a low rider and I was the only white boy that drove a low rider there. I built custom cars with my father there and got along great with Mexicans there. I moved to Missouri over 30 years ago because I got tired of sitting in gridlock traffic in LA. Hard to imagine this kind of crazy there now.
