Do people dress like that everyday? So primitive.

Incorrect. They are dressed for something like a 'sing sing', or another cultural ceremony. It a very important part of their cultural heritage. The man who was spoken to was a tribal leader, or 'the chief' of his tribe. I lived for 2 years with the 'Kyaka-Enga', not the 'Melpa'.
