Welcome business members!
This one is so new, it's actually still a work in progress, but I figured since all that's missing (and that I won't be able to create over the next time) is the thumbnail, I would share it with you anyway already to enjoy.
Let me know what you think!
As the 777 approaches, these videos are gold Emi! Thanks a lot!
I remember doing a flight in the cockpit of a 747 in the 90s.
Our flight was leaving Brest Acc, and the pilots requested their oceanic clearance.
They contacted Shanwick Center over HF🤭
Seriously, it was ureadable😅
The controller gave a series of geographical points (over HF radio which was awful) and the pilots were writing all of them with their little pen😄
Acars is such a progress😊
Superb! With the pmdg 777 coming I’ll surely apply all! Though I’m the meantime I’ll practice with the XP12 A330.
Now comes the challenge of doing all of that while in a simulator and creating the rings etc on the ND 😅
Nice vid btw, not too short but not too long either.
Thank you fo rthe video really good explanation as always
Thank you. Very handy.
Thanks
Yaayy finally a vid about that xD
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isnt there a big change coming in terms of oceanic clearance?
@A330DRIVER Hi, I'm flying a Johannesburg, South Africa to La Guardia, NY. Enter oceanic route via Namibia. Can you advise clearance lead time for this route?
I am still working out MSFS ATC menu… is Oceanic Clearance available in MSFS default 747 or is an add on required? Wasn’t aware that it was.
Hey! Do you know if an oceanic clearance is needed for flights from the US mainland to Hawaii? Or from Hawaii to Australia/Asia?
Just in time for NAT Doc 007 March 2024
is this doable in the Headwinds A330?
You were on FL360 before the entry point, do you have to request a climb clearence to FL380 from the ATC , apart from the oceanic clearence?
Of course. But the feeder ATC knows the oceanic clearances aswell, and will make sure aircraft enter oceanic airspace accordingly.
You mentioned to fly the exact Mach number, I am wondering what exact means - ie what level of precision is required (eg 3 decimal places plus or minus 0,001 so perhaps 0.815 (error range 0.814 to 0.816)?
No, just 2 decimals is ok (M.83)
Could you make a video about the Fenix 320 weather radar? Having quite some trouble with it.
i thought it wasn’t modeled right?
@@finnleithomczyk5292 Oh, might be.
What aircraft is that and is if for mafs
Toliss A340 for x plane 11/12
This is x-plane 12 right?
Yep, looks like he is flying the Toliss 340
Between March 21 (Bodo and Santa Maria) and May 3 (Gander; Shanwick switches on April 9) the procedure will change: ua-cam.com/video/J-FkEsaOkk0/v-deo.htmlsi=mPLIIIXWA9gxuCOg
Looks the same as current one.
there's something odd about your A330 in this vid
A340
man this vid is 5 months old
yeah, and there will be no more oceanic clearances IRL in the next few weeks !!
@@jefflarcher5627You still need to send the flight plan route, you will just not receive a confirmation.
It was a video for channel members (with a subscription) only
Yea i know and i think its cool that he realeses the member videos to the public after some time
@@jefflarcher5627No, that’s understandably a misunderstanding. The term Oceanic Clearance is getting removed and will be called something else, not the procedure itself.
This graphics 🤣🤣🤣a joke
