You are the only reviewer that has me giggling all the way through :} Brilliantly delivered as always....don't ever change your style........of delivery that is!
One of the most fun reviews of anything I’ve seen in ages 😂. All while actually doing an excellent job of actually assessing and describing the capabilities
I've got the Magene and it is the dogs danglers, especially in the wind. It's no replacement for looking behind you, but it does give you a bit of confidence that there is something actually there trying to run you over.
I've had it for about 3,000 km and it hasn't happened to me yet that it wouldn't show the car. only with the same speed and I have no problem even with 3 cars in a row.
Hi! I have an issue with this stuff, I am curious that you have the same experience or can suggest something. So, you can use the gardia in two ways: 1. connected to a computer as a smart light and radar as well, 2. standalone mode without light connection, but still connected as radar. In the first case when a car is detected, it changes the light mode warning strobe only for one or two seconds, then it goes into the normal mode (however the car is still visible on the computer's screen). In the second case, warning light pattern is okay until the detected car passes you, but after some time (about around half an hour) the light switches off itself. I have not found any solution and have not found anybody, who has got the same experience. Maybe, because gardia is my girlfriend's light and I can see behind her how it operates. Thank you for your answer. Some additional information: the gardia and the computer (garmin edge 830) has got the latest firmware.
I have been reading about this light, i believe it has an auto-shutoff mode after 30 minutes of inactivity but is supposed to start back up/on after you resume your ride
Woah, is the oncoming penis traffic a wahoo feature or exclusive to the Bryton? I must know! Also, would love to see a comparison with the Magene unit, I've had mine for a year and a half and its been fantastic
Hello, can you tell me whether the flashing light on the Bryton radar is as bright as the flashing light on the Garmin in daylight? Is that the same technique? Unfortunately, you can't find anything about it in all the tests. Best regards
I did start writing a Gardia vs Varia comparison but struggled to make it interesting enough. Anyway, he's the little list of stated battery life/brightness (in lumens) stats of the two devices in each of their modes: ### Gardia High solid - 8 hr / 20 lumens Low solid - 12 hr / 5 lumens Group ride - 11hr / 12 lumens Day flash - 17hr / 73 lumens Night flash - 17hr / 12 lumens Just as a radar - 24 hours ### Varia Solid mode - up to 6hr / 20 lumen Peloton mode - Up to 8 hr / 8 lumen Day flash mode - Up to 16 hr / 65 lumen Night flash mode - Up to 6 hr / 29 lumen Standby mode - Up to 3 mo So according to their own measurements, the Gardia is marginally brighter than Varia in daylight mode.
Good morning, thank you for your detailed answer. I mainly drive during the day and it's important to be seen. Driving at night or at dusk is rare. I believe the radar is about equally good from both manufacturers. Would you then recommend the Bryton Gardia because of the even brighter daytime flash mode? Best regards

Thanks Tim
Great review, as ever. How did you change the symbols on your Wahoo?
Great review of this light, would love a three way, of the other bike radar lights you have mentioned.
Bought this a few weeks ago, it's pretty good! Got it less than half the price of a Garmin so took the punt.
12:52 my kind of humour 😂. Subscribed!
What a refreshing review. Might have a punt
Your channel is worth watching for the comedy value alone😂
Would be good to see reviews of the Magene and Cycplus

As a German I feel flattered.
Faster! Faster!
