Just got home from giving a sermon, let me just say that this song reinforces what Jesus gave the me to say tonight. Really desiring his presence and longing for all he is, for who he is and what he does for us. Just to love him and long for his loving touch to fill every part of who we are, and transform every aspect of our life and of those around us. To shift our focus from all the negativity in our world, to the one who IS LOVE. I give God the Glory and Thank you for using your gift to worship God and I pray that God blesses you and your beautiful family continously.

Some of the lyrics confuse me in this song. “I’m not here for the promise, I’m here for your presence.” - this one is strange to me. Why would you not be here for the promise? The fact that He’s good and He keeps His promises is one of the most wonderful things about God.
“Destination doesn’t matter when the journey’s where you are.” - another one I don’t understand… the destination absolutely matters. The journey of course also matters 100%. He’s present in both the destination and the journey.
So confused by this song. The rest of it is great - maybe someone can explain these lines to me though?
