i read about his backstory if you want to read it here's a quick summary: his mother was really poor and his dad abandoned him and they owed some landowners a big debt or something so the mother had to give away their house and also sell her son but she didnt want to so she gave freminet to the orphanage where the previous "father" said he was abandoned when he really wasn't and then his mom got killed
Freminet has got to be my favorite 4 star so far in Fontaine. The way his VA did all of the hesitation, the shaking breaths, it's just so well put together! I hope we get his hangout next, I wanna know more about him already

Today I learned that pulling for a specific 4 star is way harder than pulling for a 5 star. I used 80 pulls today, and I got only one Freminet at the end. Meanwhile I also got C6 Sayu, C6 Noelle, lost the 50/50 to Dheya and got C1 Zhongli.

The scum moneylenders then wanted to take Freminet as a payment aside from their house. So in order to save Freminet, his mother doesn't have any choice but to left him at the orphanage where those scums cannot go near. Unfortunately his mother didn't make it as she confront the money lenders alone and die 😭

From one of Freminet's story, it is stated that Arlecchino went to the moneylenders and implied to killed them. Arlecchino then brought back the pendant that Freminet's mother own and give it to him as a memento while telling him that his mother didn't abandoned him but instead protected him with her life until the end.

Yes you got it right. Basically to sum it up: Freminet came first when he was small and the house of hearth that time was still under the previous director that was very brutal and abusive. Then Arlecchino replace that person and changed the house of hearth into a "home", Then Arlecchino met and save Lyney and Lynette. They (the twins) arrived at the Hotel Bouffes d'ete (the orphanage at Fontaine) and met Freminet there. Arlecchino then assigned the three as a group/family of three and that' goes until present.
WOW, I gotta say the English voice acting doesn’t always tend to be my favorite but they’ve been getting better and better. Sumerus was pretty good (I had a few I didn’t like but that’s me), and now with Fontaine, I’m so impressed with Freminets voice. (It just makes me sad with what what they did with Mika and Tighnaris voice in comparison.) I want to adopt him so badly. I also was under the assumption Arlecchino had been the head of the house of hearth since it’s inception but I guess not. Wow.
