- Is it true that huskies are stupid? We've put together a new set of videos of Yuki the husky, where she solves dlgic problems once again. Huskies show incredible intelligence if they are properly motivated. My husky, Yuki, is motivated by food. She shows marvels of logic and agility to get treats out of hard to reach places. I do logic games like this with my dogs all the time. Living in the wild, wolves constantly have to solve complex problems. But domestic dogs don't often bother to use their wits. And after all, every dog needs brain training to stay healthy for as long as possible.

Yuki is a very smart girl indeed along with Monty and Olive. Yuki is very good with using her paws and nose to get the treatos. People think huskies are stupid because the husky is very independent and does what it feels like and not what you might want them to do.
Yuki proves to us every day that she is strong and independent, but only if she is afraid of something, she runs to hide at my feet 😄

Trixie is smarter than us humans sometimes. Both times I bought her increasingly complicated treat mazes mum said that she'd never figure them out and she did it within a day. She can also count and knows if I short her on treats. XD

Yuki has the advantage of an excellent nose.....she can smell the treat and scopes out its location that way. Not by visually following the cup rearrangements

Huskies are sweet & smart, you can train them easily!!! You can train lots of animals like: horses, hamsters or birds and others
That is what people also think about canaries, but ours gives our son kisses, has learned to play with the son by hanging against the bars and having his belly, tail and paw caressed + plays with his mirrors like crazy (so fun to watch), swings etc..... !! And when a friend of ours comes by he keeps calling him till he talks to him HAHAHA!! Such a little smart guy!
He knows what time you come down, 'asks' certain things (behavior and sound), in short, is the love and greatest joy of our lives!! Due to my severe allergies, we cannot accept dogs, cats, etc. bring it into your home ;-( But we found love with canaries. Our current friend is called Mihawk.
I think our son (I call him Gentle Giant) is a kind of a canary-whisperer 🤣.
