Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where in this video we are talking the new lip balm from the ordinary which is possibly the best drugstore lip balm 2024 and one to watch when it comes to your skincare routine.
It has been 6 years since the ordinary skincare became a viral sensation and it has taken them all this time to come out with a lip product. Well it was worth the wait as today we have the launch of the ordinary lip balm and its already getting a lot of hype online.
Containing squalane and amino acids this formulation looks great and will deliver you long lasting hydration rather than the current drugstore lip balm fails which just cause lip balm addiction.

❌️ It seems nice, The Ordinary rarely misses with their launches, but I just can't justify spending 9€ on a lip balm. I don't really suffer with chapped lips so cheap lip balms do it for me if I need them. I remember when The Ordinary had many skincare products for 5€ - 10€... Their prices have risen so much and it feels like they're drifting further and further from what they were originally known for, which were low prices and single ingredient formulations. I like the new launches with more complex formulations, but not these new prices!
I'm so excited Rob, I was able to purchase the lip balm at Ulta Beauty on June 23. It is like an incredible serum that hydrates the lips from within. I'm definitely in love with this product

Purchased the torriden one after your recommendation. Its a bit on the glossy side (not as sticky thankfully) but definitely really hydrating and moisturing. Smoothens out my lip texture as well. Thanks for the recommendation.

What a timely video! Ive been battling dry lips for a while now and apart from a Lip Balm I picked up from M&S nothing works. I will grab this when it appears in our local Sephora but in the meantime I will order the Torriden one. Thanks Rob! Have a great weekend x

Hi Rob! Have purchased a few things on your recommendation. Your video Thumbnail shows the Inkey List Tripeptide Lip Balm - have you tried that one (I've heard it's very plumping with the peptides) and how does it compare to this one from The Ordinary?
My holy grail lip balm is the Naturium one but I am interested in trying this one from the Ordinary cause it's a bit more afforable

I just got the Torriden this afternoon. So I am going to give that a chance before I order the Ordinary.
personally I prefer the torriden one as its more matte which is the finish I prefer.. both great though x

Where is the spf? We need more choices in lip balms with spf. I won't be rushing out to get it.

You should charge 1:1 consultations for individual skin care routines. You recommend so many good products and I want to use them all but don’t want a 7 step system and can be like which ones should I pick 😂
I have NIOD lip product a brand introduced by you , in niod video and my lips look so kissable heheheh. We indians face lip discoloration but peptides, by reducing the dryness and irritation, has made a difference in appearance and color of my lips. I don't need to use lipstick as often.
