That's going to be a nightmare for any future repairs. Plus horrible environmentally. What we do in commerical construction is use spray adhesive and wrap the pipes in carpet pad. That provides some sound dampening. Then I would fill the rest of that cavity with mineral wool bats as that dampens sound better than fiberglass. Much easier to deal with in the future, even with the carpet foam glued to the pipes.
