Hi Cinnamon, your mystical painting spoke to me as I was scrolling through you tube. It's been 2 months since I've painted because my my little Papillon, who had battled congestive heart failure for over 3 years, went into a decline and left me 6 weeks ago today to cross the rainbow bridge. I've had a very difficult time trying to cope with the loss and am still stricken with grief. Your painting tutorial is the first thing that has elicited an interest in me since before his passing. Thank you for being the catalyst for what genuinely feels like a first step toward healing. I hope you & John make it to Ireland. I was born in Virginia but married into Ireland 18 years ago and have lived in Limerick the entire time.

I usually take ages to paint one of these, and it's a fun project for me to work on among everything else, but this is the first time I've caught one of the "bio breaks" and you putting the lid on your palette. And of all the amazing tricks i learn from you, the arrow on the lid might be my favorite! I get so frustrated spinning my lid around and around trying to find the right fit. I'm taking a break from painting and adding that right away!

they have mug warmers at Michaels/target, etc that you set your cup on and it stays warm/hot based on setting just saying might help with the having to heat coffee

Would matte medium work in place of gloss
Oh that was a 3-1/2 hoot for me. The ripples were tough, they looked like a vortex. But, I got something I was happy with. That is all that counts.

You need a yeti cup. Your coffee will stay hot for hours. It will even be warm in the afternoon. There are tumblers cheaper though but still work.

ANOTHER THING IS THE PALLET CAMERA ISN'T SET TO MIRROR THE CANVAS COLORS SO WHAT IS SHOWING ON THE PALLET IS WASHED OUT COLOR. NEEDS TO SET THE CAMERA SETTINGS SO THE COLORS MATCH.
IS GOLDEN GLAZING LIQUID SOMETHING LIKE POURING MEDIUM? thank you. I am trying to find the right thing but we have different names of things so I am not sure what to look for. :)
This is actually a great question, because sometimes products have very similar names. The golden glazing liquid is not like pouring medium, but it has a similar thickness and viscosity. They do both dry clear unless tinted. But they’re very different products this product that I’m using here slows down the drying time of the paint and still allows you to do tinted thin, transparent applications usually takes two products to do that. Golden Artist Color Glazing liquid comes in a gloss and a semi and I believe a matte finish. That’s just down to your preference any of them will do and they are internationally distributed I even sell it in my store.

I have to tell you. I just was watching a oil painting school on utube for interest. These people are giving information as facts about copyright and what you can’t do with acrylic paint and it’s all wrong. Someone is going to be sued big time if there court. People are paying a fortune for there private school and it’s scary.
PAINTING IS WONDERFUL BUT CAMERA WORK SUCKS ..ANGLE CAMERA HAS TO MUCH REFLECTION OF LIGHTS OFF CANVASS KEEP IT OVERHEAD.
