Just spent TWO days chatting with cash app support and all he told me was I have to have a card. I even showed him in the terms and conditions where it said I Link account OR card. He said I still need to link a card. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I ordered the CashApp card with plan to take to Walgreens to add cash. I haven't made it there, so trying this other alternative...CashApp gives you a routing and account number (through Sutton Bank). I set up an account for this in my bank account as an account I can make ACH transfer to (to only). That worked. Then I scheduled a payment to go out tomorrow ($0 fee / $30 fee for today). So now I wait to see if it shows in my CashApp. Sure hope so.

Same issue as everyone else, but here's where I'm really curious, so if money goes in and out through debit card, why do they even have the option to link your checking acct with acct and routing numbers. Just complete waste of time.

Basically if you don’t wanna have your debt card on the app but have your bank account you can for example if someone sends you money you can transfer it into your bank but the standard transfer not instant bc for an instant transfer you need your debt card on there it’s stupid there’s no way to add cash without a debt card or having a cash app card, but you can cash out money without having a debt card and only bank
