- This is an example of pushing the limits of the FZ80/FZ82 for time lapse photography in difficult lighting conditions. A graduated ND filter was used for sunrise and sunset shots. Shot in Palm Beach Florida.
A tutorial on shooting time lapse to music and sound effects (like this video) using Lumix cameras will be posted soon on this channel.
Ceci est un exemple de dépassement des limites du FZ80 / FZ82 pour la photographie en accéléré dans des conditions d'éclairage difficiles. Un filtre ND gradué a été utilisé pour les prises de vue au lever et au coucher du soleil.

Damn... I have this camera, yet Im learning a lot.. but now im realizing the true potential of this machine. Its not a standard camera, its just great for the price and the features. Awesome vid.
Thanks... You really don't have to spend a fortune these days to get good results. In fact, you have to be crazy to spend thousands on a camera body. These Lumix Cameras are loaded with a lot of built in features. Far more than the Canon DSLRs that I own and no longer use. Check out this other time lapse that I did on the Lumix G7.

I just got this camera 2 days ago and I'm just starting to take a look at it. So far it seems this camera is very underrated and has a lot of features no one is talking about. I noticed the time lapse feature and came straight to look at examples. This is amazing!
Thanks. Just practice. Start with a simple time lapse clip then move onto multiple clips edited to a sound track.
Love these videos! I could watch the clouds moving through the sky for hours!
thanks...
A tutorial on creating time lapse videos like this one is now posted on this channel at: ua-cam.com/video/IGZufkI_Ayg/v-deo.html
Oooh, the cloud movement on the sunset and boat one was trippy. Love the night lights also. Haha, those palm trees looked like they were dancing in the wind. Beautiful video!
thanks
You captured some great footage! I love seeing the sun setting over the city as you have shown.
thanks
i love timelapses! And I love taking timelapses specially during sunset. But sometimes due to time constraints, I don't get a chance to take timelapses. I can imagine the patience and the time you have put in just to make this video.
thanks
Great timelapse
thanks
Nice pictures. Best loq light in timelapse. The fz 82 is a good camera.
Thanks for watching
nice shots! I have the FZ82 also. I took it with me to vlog my last travel and I'm happy with the results (the videos are on my channel if you're interested) but I didn't have time to learn to use all of the features before I went! I'm using quarantine time to see how I can maximize its potential.
Quarantine time is a good time to practice time lapse features of this camera. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful; I have this camera but didn’t appreciate its low light performance;
What iso did you use for night shots still avoiding noticeable noise?
Thanks for sharing would love to see more 😃
Thanks... I set ISO to no more than 200 (usually 125) and longer exposures with low noise reduction. I also use aperture priority when shooting. I also set idynamic to high. You have to use a tripod on a stable base.
Thanks
Will follow your suggestions
@@The4KTravelChannel I looked long and hard, but couldn't find any stables near the locations I wanted to capture on film.
@@The4KTravelChannel "longer exposure with low noise reduction " what do you mean by that?
And, how long? If I pass 1or 2 seg it give me "long shutter noise reduction ",and it will break the "image flow".
Anyway to bypass that?
@@troll0405 I used 1 second exposures at 200 ISO Max for the low light shots. The shooting interval was 2 seconds.
Beautiful! This has a built in intervalometer? Does it have good micro shots?
Yes it has a built in intervalometer and you can generate the time lapse video in-camera from the photos. You can get pretty good close-ups. I posted a video of the zoom/macro functions on this channel.
very nice
thanks
Great video! What setting did you use?
Thanks. I used aperture priority, MF, AWB, and ISO 100. There is a tutorial on this channel that shows how it's done.
Awesome 🔥😍🌅
thanks
Very nice. You really know how to use this camera. How do you do the panning-in (and out) during the time lapse? Is that done in-camera or afterwards in your video editor?
I use event pan/crop in Vegas Pro to do the panning in and out. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks.
wow, such stunning shots! how long does it take to shoot one? :)
I loved the nightshots especially.
thanks. .. It took a few weeks to shoot this one.
Hi, I recently bought this Lumix fz82 camera, but while filming I hear a strange noise in the camera, a kind of tingling, or fleas ... I transferred the filming to my laptop and it sounds much louder. How is your device behaving? Is there any noise during filming? But on film ...?
Please help me with this problem.
p.s. I didn't zoom, I filmed in the HOUSE!
Thank you.
No there is no noise during filming. Put it on manual focus and aperture priority mode and then record and see if it happens. It could be the motor in the lens adjusting focus or the aperture.

@@The4KTravelChannel Super ! Merci beaucoup ! :)
how did toy get minimal grain for darker shots though? and was the ndfilter the helper?
longer exposure time (i.e. slower shutter speed)
@@The4KTravelChannel awesome looking still for that camera interesting do yo uhave a video that shows the zoom,?

Hi, I have this camera but how do I can record time lapse videos? I can see only time lapse shot function only. In addition to that I tried few times but, maximum I can creat one minute time lapse video from photos! Can you explain it!! Some difficulties! Recently I have bough Panasonic LUMIX fc80 recently.
I just want to make time lapse videos like I phone lapse lapse option which we can make at least long videos !!! Any possibility?
You have to set you count to the maximum and after you complete your time lapse you have the option of creating a video. Alternatively you can use the play mode from the menu and then select the create time lapse video option.
Just another note we will be posting a video on how to create a time lapse video to music and sound effects using Lumix Cameras.
The 4K Travel Channel , please do a video about how to create a time lapse video with Panasonic LUMIX dcfz80 !! Your channel subscribed! And expecting this video
👍👍👍
Thanks
did you color graded?
No it's straight out of the camera.
can you explain how you did it?! make a new UA-cam video...
It's explained in this video: ua-cam.com/video/IGZufkI_Ayg/v-deo.html
Is there optical stabilization in 4k video?
This was shot on a tripod. The FZ80 has optical image stabilization.
@@The4KTravelChannel Tell me, the quality will be very different from Tell me, Panasonic HC-VX870 or PANASONIC HC-VX980? How better?
@@su8452 They all have the same size sensor. The quality will be similar. I would not buy the HC-VX870 or HC-VX980. They are camcorders. The FZ80 is now $220 and a great buy. If you want to spend more money buy the Panasonic FZ1000 for about $450 which will give you better quality video with a larger sensor.
@@The4KTravelChannel Thanks. I waited a long time for Canon to release an inexpensive video camera with 4k, but this did not happen ((. I had a Canon XF M 41 camera - it was a good cheap camera.
@@su8452 I have been shooting with Canon for a long time and waited also and finally bought a Panasonic FZ80 just over 2 years ago and then a G7 and then a G9. I won't go back to Canon.
Can you make a vid how you make this?
Yes we are planning to make a tutorial on shooting time lapse videos with Lumix cameras including editing to the a soundtrack. We are planning to shoot a new time lapse in Miami Florida in December and will document how to do it.
@@The4KTravelChannel for a beginner , is this a good camera ? y can buy one for 140€ second hand , they takes only 500 clics with it
@@unutilisateurgoogle8927 Yes it's a good camera for a beginner. There are more features than you could ever want. It's Panasonic's best selling camera and for good reasons. I have seen it new for $232 USD new on Ebay. It may be better to buy it new if you can get it for 200 euros.
@@The4KTravelChannel Thanks !
@@The4KTravelChannel look this, just wonderful ! ua-cam.com/video/AHrCI9eSJGQ/v-deo.html
Nice how l make it this time lapse l have this camera ?
Put the camera in 4K 16x9 photo mode. Use the time lapse function described on page 129 of the advanced FZ82 manual (Time Lapse Shot). I use aperture priority mode and manual focus and fix the white balance. I may do a tutorial in the future.
@@The4KTravelChannel thanks brother
@@jhonhplanespotter..6824 No problem. Don't forget to choose some good music for the final edit.
@@The4KTravelChannel oh course man l do it !!!
Hi,
Great video. How do you put set the camera to "4K 16x9 photo mode".
Where in the menu is that?
