I remember, back when I was doing my MBA at XLRI, Jamshedpur the placement season was the most dreaded time. And the one question I was most scared of was 'Why should I hire you'. I used to think - what am I supposed to say? How can I sit there and just praise myself, like I am so great , it is so weird.
This is a very difficult question because -
1. It usually comes right at the end, when you have finished the technical parts of the interview and you think, ah! thank god it's over and boom - why should we hire you
2. It also sometimes may mean that they have not been able to make up their minds about you. They may be confused and so they are giving you one last chance to sell yourself.

During my college time I had presented projects over powerpoint in some of them I act as the team leader as well. So after having 4 years of experience in past it helped me lot in absorbing and enhancing my analytical skills, decision making and so on as compared to my college time.

I believe I have all the relevant skills, knowledge and qualities that are required for this role and I'm confident that I can use that for your company's benefit.. I believe chemical engineers need to have a good numerical aptitude which is what I have since I have always loved solving numerical problems and achieved higher than 80 marks in all numerical courses. Also, I have a passion for chemical engineering related softwares and being a lifelong learner I used to practice Aspen Hysys during free time at internship....

I'm glad that you've asked me this question.The reason you should me hire because, I'm a life long learner. I have learning agility and I take what I have learned in the past and translate that learning into new situations.
I believe that a person who is flexible , an open minded and interested in learning is quite better than person who is determined to keep going in the old way.

Ans: well I understand the JD needs person who can handle procurement and good understanding of MM and to vendor relationship, from my prior experience I have gained the these knowledge . Also I am a good learner updating to current marketing situation and I am approacable character maintaing good relationship with suppliers
....You should hire me because I have handled procurement for many years in my past experience working with large organisations and was able to save cost as well, through my technical know how and good negotiation skills, maintaining healthy relationship with suppliers.

The reason you should hire me I am a fresher. I have theoretical knowledge but I'll put all my efforts for the good progress of my organization.
