That said, even if it doesn't physically hurt, the psychological damage from this sort of thing is massive.
Also, fun fact, Shion wasn't even mad that they were the ones responsible for killing her or the other citizens. What she WAS mad about was that their actions forced Rimuru to fight against and slaughter humans on a massive scale: something that went so counter to who he was, what he stood for etc.

Diablo himself forcefully intervened in the summoning so that he would be summoned and not his dependants. Raphael also assumes that Rimuru is aware of his identity so doesn't say anything to him.

I think Shion's "master chef" skills can manipulate the laws of the world. Like for example the 3 prisoners, she was able to change their body structure without killing them, they should have died in that state yet they are still alive and breathing. Just like in food where she can turn deadly dishes into tasty dishes, Shion can also apply the skill "masterchef" to everyone other than her cooking, may it be a person, magic, attacks, barrier she can changed it into something she desire. Like she can turn a strong barrier into a useless one. Her skill is actually scary and OP.
