They fooled we the people when all of a sudden your banks are issuing these credit/debit bank cards under the guise of convenience so they could all be in cahoots as to how they’re going to use us in proceeding with their bull****. People actually spend more money with these cards than they would if they just used cash as the way it used to be. To fight them, only cash should be used but people are stupid & gullible so to get everyone on the same page to use cash will be difficult & that’s exactly where “they” want us & people complied. And they know what our business is with all these card transactions which was another one of their goals. Next, digital currency that they can stop and or control at any time at the press of a button if they don’t like what & how often we’re spending something on or if we haven’t complied with something “they” want us to comply with.
I have mixed feelings about this deal personally I live in Butler indiana and there's no 711s around where I live at all so on one hand I'm kind of glad that 711 bought Speedway although there's really not any 711s even close to where I live so I think would be cool if Fort wayne indiana converted some speedway stations to 711 but I also think that 711 and speedway should be operated as 2 separate entities and not totally get rid of Speedway

So how come its only speedway atms that wont even let me put in my pin. Just says transaction canceled right after my chip card is put in and my phone is on me. Its about to cost speedway a customer cause Im tired of trying to get money off my card and not bring able to even tho Theres is plenty if money on it. And if speedway becomes 7 11 not going to it.
Because they’re give you option credit or debit and put hit credit or remove card before it final process. Second note speedy reward not leaving their are keeping it and speedway name not changing only u see 711 brand name items to test and keeping speedway brand name
Those are the worst terminals to use even the ones inside 7-eleven. All those little terminals can’t be trusted. In as much as banks are crooks, better to go to a bank atm.
I don’t like it at all. Speedway stopped making their freshly brewed tea that was in a machine near their hot foods. I got one of those teas all the time & put ice in it in the Summertime. Those 7-eleven small plastic bags suck, too. Very odd shape & bulky because of the shape where the small Speedway bags fit everything nicely without protruding from the bag. Then one cashier at one particular Spedway I’ve been going to for over 10 years all of a sudden tells me I had to make 3 separate transactions on my card for 6 packs of cigarettes with the coupons I had but when I went to another Speedway, I didn’t have that problem & I’ve not had that problem again but, wtf-thats the kind of stupidity that the bank can automatically lock your card up for; using the same card at the same store for separate transactions but luckily that didn’t happen this time. No, not impressed with this bull****. And out of nowhere the popular 7-eleven in my neighborhood that was always busy ends up with new owners or management only to close permanently after being in business there for like over 3 decades & it’s still abandoned making the neighborhood look like crap so no, not impressed. So far as of August, 2023, our gas stations around here in Illinois & Indiana are still called Speedway.
Not happy about this sale. I like Speedway just as it is.

As of a week before Christmas, 2021, the Speedways in Lake County, Indiana, have still remained Speedways.

Speedway doesn't own the ATM terminals that are inside of the store.
