I am so overwhelm with joy seeing how much they appreciate having you guys. Alyshia don't worry about your hated they have nothing on you. If they had a good life they wouldn't be so bitter. Love you guys😀❤
POWELLS! I am smiling from ear to ear and simply loving this. Saf I am loving how the Ghanaians are hosting you and Alysia. AND the sceneries makes me want to visit Ghana. For now though, I am living vicariously through you guys. I have started watching some Ghanaian vloggers who are posting about your visit - it is a good look. Mi proud ah unou ❤️🙂
Thank you both for sharing these special moments with us. I am Jamaican descent but born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I hope to visit Ghana and other countries in Africa one day. Looking forward to seeing more vlogs in Ghana!
This is truly awesome. So glad that Asafa finally visited his wife homeland and was so truly appreciated. Enjoy every bit of this it's a great honor nice seeing Aliysha sister❤
@@dodooalbertniidarko8213 True but when you live on a tight budget like myself you have to take into consideration airfare and hotel vs. food and bills.
Peter Touch sang this decades ago, no matter where you come from, as long as you’re a black man, you’re an African. Seeing those people in the marketplace, reminds me so much of Jamaica. We’re all connected but some of us are so busy fighting against each other we don’t even realize it. Just a foot note, the first set of slaves left from Ghana to Virginia.
To see you both in Ghana is wonderful Your Sister is very Beautiful. This is one of the things that I know about all Africans people they love Jamaicans and I return the love always. Asafa you buss whey wi di food 🤣 in the mist of all this joyful time I miss your Kings please let us know how Amieke & Ahzaf is doing. Loads of Love and Blessing to you both. Cheers California ✌️ 💛
Respect to you both, you are awakening a lot of the Diaspora to see Africa in a different light. I'm Jamaican and me and my family have visited Tanzania and south Africa. Africa to the world
Asafa needed Alyshia in his life to run walk laugh and connect with this part of his journey. Continue to enjoy this adventure. I will be watching and feeling the energies.
Wow this video shows how much we are alike! Watching the singers I saw our folk groups. Watching the streets it looks like the streets of Jamaica... doing commerce the same way. One conclusion we are from Ghana. Thank you guys.
God protect you and have some great fun. Keep the videos coming! Makes me feel like I want to retire in Ghana. Many are leaving USA now and doing that.
I love that Asafa said Ghana is just like Jamaica because there is too much division between us. This vlog was so beautiful and emotional at the same time. Blessings to the Powels.
I absolutely love this. I could see the excitement on Safa's face when Alisha said they will go meet her relatives. Alisha your sister is pretty. That food looked soo, soo good. Continue to enjoy this trip and make great memories together. Safa, a see ur red drause in the back though😁😁😁😁Mucha Amor💕
Ghana, sure remind me of Jamaica, and it is on my bucket list as well as Nigeria and South Africa. I am glad you guys are having a wonderful time, and you're definitely being given the royal treatment. Surely It is a packed itinerary; however, we all appreciate you taking time out to give us a glimpse of that beautiful place. Be well until next time.❤️❤️
Man, I am loving these Ghana vlogs, especially because Ghana is my top destination. I am making a promise to myself to be there for my 40th birthday. I should be more settled in life to afford the trip by then.
Thank you so much for taking us along on your trip to Ghana. So many Jamaican celebrities and media personnel have visited and not even shared a good 📸
As a Jamaican living in USA am proud of you. Seeing you holding your wife hand. Lot of Jamaican men don’t do that. So so proud of you. Enjoy your self. Want to see more of the country more please.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Asafa glad you are fitting in well in the company of, Queen Alisha to be your guide! She is a, natural African woman. Man make good use of your time and events! Everything comes with the, territory! Before you know it, you are back in, JA. Love ❤ the tour. Always, blessings!
There so many great black retired or even competitive black athletes that would be greatly appreciated helping to develop the sport in African countries than they are in US or Caribbean. Some well- governed African countries like could use quality sprint coaches or visits from retired or competing athletes
Podcast suggestion! How do you feel Saf being in Africa? Do you feel like geez this is the origin... the place we are from. I mean have travelled internationally, is that a feeling? I hope to one day to visit Africa with my daughters. Ti figure out if that wow feeling is real!! The way I feel coming home to Jamaica. When you land that yes! I'm home.. this is mine. Not sure if anyone else has that sense like a soul connection with a place? Any hood I'm enjoying these vlogs and catching up on the other YT channels documenting the trip!
WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE VENDORS AND TRAFFIC IN GHANA, WE SEE IT IS ALMOST THE SAME AS JAMAICA, AND ELSEWHERE, CULTURES MAY BE A BIT DIFFERENT, BUT LIFE IS BASICALLY THE SAME.....TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING AND WANTING A SHELTER, FOOD, AND CLOTHING!!!
I agree with you Asafa, Ghana is similar to JA. I had the opportunity to visit Ghana many years ago and that was my first thought. I also understand a lot of Jamaicans live there too. Ghana is a lovely country.
Singing is really emotional sound like the church in Jamaica the one voice then the calling out only different language. Ghana seem like a nice peaceful country. One blood they work and co operate together you can see the love and respect between the citizens.
Thank you both for doing these videos. You represent Jamaica well. I hope I can visit & move to Ghana in the future. Your wife is beautiful. Stay blessed.
Give thanks for UA-cam and other social media platforms that show Ghana positives because mainstream and European fed us in Jamaica with the negative side of Africa and other Caribbean nations
How are the boys? Can we catch a little FaceTime with them ? Maybe? Missing seeing those two precious boys and their antics 😜. Good to see you both soaking up the culture.
You guys are super cool. Asafa you are a great ambassador for your country you represent them well. Ghana is giving away citizenship to black people from the West.
I'm so proud of you ASAFA you represent Jamaica 🇯🇲 well.
