    POWELLS! I am smiling from ear to ear and simply loving this. Saf I am loving how the Ghanaians are hosting you and Alysia. AND the sceneries makes me want to visit Ghana. For now though, I am living vicariously through you guys.

    Peter Touch sang this decades ago, no matter where you come from, as long as you’re a black man, you’re an African. Seeing those people in the marketplace, reminds me so much of Jamaica. We’re all connected but some of us are so busy fighting against each other we don’t even realize it. Just a foot note, the first set of slaves left from Ghana to Virginia.

    Wow this video shows how much we are alike! Watching the singers I saw our folk groups. Watching the streets it looks like the streets of Jamaica... doing commerce the same way. One conclusion we are from Ghana. Thank you guys.

    I went on the cruise to Jamaica last year and I almost jumped out to stay there because I felt home as if I was in Ghana 🇬🇭.

    I absolutely love this. I could see the excitement on Safa's face when Alisha said they will go meet her relatives. Alisha your sister is pretty. That food looked soo, soo good.     There so many great black retired or even competitive black athletes that would be greatly appreciated helping to develop the sport in African countries than they are in US or Caribbean. Some well- governed African countries like could use quality sprint coaches or visits from retired or competing athletes

    Podcast suggestion! How do you feel Saf being in Africa? Do you feel like geez this is the origin... the place we are from. I mean have travelled internationally, is that a feeling? I hope to one day to visit Africa with my daughters. Ti figure out if that wow feeling is real!! The way I feel coming home to Jamaica. When you land that yes! I'm home.. this is mine. Not sure if anyone else has that sense like a soul connection with a place?
    Any hood I'm enjoying these vlogs and catching up on the other YT channels documenting the trip!

    WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE VENDORS AND TRAFFIC IN GHANA, WE SEE IT IS ALMOST THE SAME AS JAMAICA, AND ELSEWHERE, CULTURES MAY BE A BIT DIFFERENT, BUT LIFE IS BASICALLY THE SAME.....TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING AND WANTING A SHELTER, FOOD, AND CLOTHING!!!

    I agree with you Asafa, Ghana is similar to JA. I had the opportunity to visit Ghana many years ago and that was my first thought. I also understand a lot of Jamaicans live there too. Ghana is a lovely country.

    Singing is really emotional sound like the church in Jamaica the one voice then the calling out only different language. Ghana seem like a nice peaceful country. One blood they work and co operate together you can see the love and respect between the citizens.
