Well, generally speaking I understand that it's dialects or accents, but I don't really see a difference between different Korean dialects. And based on the ending of this video looks like you understand why your reactions helps us. Anyway, just thank you for this particular reaction. Not sure if Patreon currently make sense for you. Usually other reactors use it for posting copyright-blocked reactions and to receive suggestions for future videos + some extra money. SuA is from Masan/Changwon actually. I did think that her native dialect was the most distinctive when I first heard them talk beyond "standard Korean".

Siyeon the Daegu Pool of Blood, SuA is the Masan Killer what are the stereotypes of that region? Yoohyeon is from Incheon and Gahyeon from Seongnam which (after looking at a map) are both pretty close to Seoul (Dami) so once again it is Dreamcatcher's unnies going off the rails and the maknaes calming things down. Handong is from Wuhan, and her nickname is Wuhan Poison which they haven't mentioned in a few years... for some reason... Does Handong have a "Chinese accent" to native Korean speakers? I've always loved Handong's speaking voice, I call it Handong-gul. I don't understand Korean but I can hear how different it is from the others and it's very soothing to me. Like this time when Handong and Yoohyeon played a game to make words, but Yoohyeon's paper flipped upside down so she did words with ㄴㅇ instead of ㅇㄱ and Handong won the Hangul game ua-cam.com/video/4GsgX05-p6M/v-deo.html.

A great follow up to this from Insomnicsy would be Handong vs the Korean Language 1 & 2. I don't speak a lick of Korean so I know I'm missing out on a lot as far as accents go, but it seems like poor Handong had a pretty rough time at first as well lol
South Korea is similar to England in that everyone in the country understands the 'standard' dialect which in England is called BBC English or Received Pronunciation which came out of London. In South Korea it's the Seoul dialect which everyone hears in the news and entertainment broadcasts that come out of Seoul. Regional accents in both countries mostly differ in the rising and falling of tone in a sentence and the way vowels are pronounced. There are also words that one dialect uses that another does not. The spread of mass communication has slowly muted regional accents all over the world and many have disappeared. It's sad because dialects and accents are one of the things that make unfamiliar cultures so interesting. Patreon works well for most reactors. Most of them approach it as a business in order to make money, but some do not. You have to charge something for subscriptions, but it can be as little as one or two dollars a month. You have to be aware of the costs involved which lie mainly in the cloud service you use to store your videos so subscribers can watch them. All of them (Google, Dropbox, Vimeo) have a 'free plan' which is never adequate as your Patreon grows. So you end up having to get a paid plan and that's what you need the subscriber fees to pay for unless you want to use your own money. You can still post non-copyrighted material on YT, but you have to use a cloud service for copyrighted content.

Nice-uh! When I speak to my parents in my limited Vietnamese, I have a central dialect but with anyone else it's the southern city dialect.
