Once again we find ourselves in Ivan's secret lair. The battle to bring the battered BMW HP2 back to life has dragged on for more than a year. The machine is all back together. When Chris presses the start button will we hear the might roar of the 1200 cc boxer or the click of an under voltage solenoid? - Авто та транспорт

The HP2 is incredibly awesome.
The closest thing you can get to a big enduro boxer bike like this is an r nine t and put a few thousand dollars modifying the suspension.
Had the chance to buy one in 2009 when dealers couldn't get rid of them. Same price as my F800. Big mistake.

I ride a 1200 gs which is very comfortable for my travels along with camping but might be too much for off road, anyway I will try it and see how I do. Boxxer engines look cool but on an off-roader... needs crash bars... on a road bike... reduces lean angle. Think I'll go for S1000 instead.
You can lean a 1200GS pretty far. They are tall.

@@AwesomePlayers 😅 more than bearings and rear suspension ? This hp2 seems to have a good engine and little electronics
cracotator The rear air shock will fail eventually and Chris will go with a standard style as a replacement. Machine is pretty simple for a modern bike.

I bought a house without a garage and misery followed for many years, until I could get one built.
I almost bought a house with a single garage even though a two car garage was on my must have list. Luckily my wife stepped in said we would regret it. She was right and we passed on that house.
