What is your BEST and WORST Gacha game in 2024?
AFK Journey was surprisingly addictive, and HSR Penacony was crazy good. But as for the best? Probably Wuthering Waves next month. If they keep listening to the community as they did during the CBTs, it'll only get better from now on.
The Best Gacha game for me is Arknights. About the worst I don't know, but I will write the game in which I am dissapointed. It is Azur Lane. I am just stuck because of limited storage space. It is not free-to-play friendly.
best : Honkai: Star Rail -- penacony is SOO good...aventurine lore depressing...world build is great.
worst : probably tower of fantasy...story was ok...character models were mid...QoL is neccesary.
stix, you should cover more HSR content!!!
I love R1999 wish i started playing it sooner.
Punishing Gray Raven until Wuthering Waves. i love the combact so mutch
I'm sorry but I'm convinced that MOST gacha games that are based on animes are always doomed to fail. They'll never last as long as a gacha game with unique characters and stories.
Prolly the plot and units revolve around it are based on the anime so it's kill the creative, you cant make new things out of nowhere without being questioned
@@giangtrinhtruong7952 True but what solo leveling is doing, "creating new characters with back stories with the author's input in really great,
Depends how popular the ip is, all the dragon ball and one piece gachas have been out for years and are always on top of the revenue charts to this day, Styx just ignores them for some reason 😂
Black clover is doing decent so far
True and real. Those are often just boring cash grabs
I would highly appreciate a list at the end with names of the games because the icons are not saying much to someone who knows nothing about the games.
I’ve been trying to find the third game he put in UR and have no idea how to spell the name
Edit: took some googling and reading Reddit threads. Nikke
agreed
exactly
he says the name every time he ranks one....
just gotta say absolutely mad respect for you i see you always responding to comments on your videos even tho you have like two (idk maybe more mb lol) channels and upload like a video a day
haha thanks, BasicsZ! I appreciate the compliment, man! I try my hardest to reply to as many comments as I can, going back through videos to try and respond to new people! I juggle 2 channels, and stream 2 days per week, posting videos daily and receiving tens of thousands of comments (combined between both channels) per month. It's difficult, but people take the time to comment, so I try to take the time to reply!
Reverse, Dokkan Battle, and Blue Archive are gacha games I'm playing right now. Currently waiting for Wuthering Waves, can't wait to give that game a shot
I was actually looking for a tier list 20 minutes ago cause I am bored out of my mind and its absolutely mind boggling how timely this is for me
OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS (I came in the middle and missed the first half of the stream me so sowwy😢)
haha you're welcome! Thanks for coming by the stream!!
Good list, people really need to understand how much better Azur lane's monetization is compared to most other gacha games.
Yup. But they just see gameplay and write it off.
@@StixxyTo be fair, gameplay is kind of most people's reason to, well play a game?
Though a lot of people can still find enjoyment for Azur Lane so there's that 🤷♂️
Not really? They come across as foolish. If you aren't intending to make money from gacha, don't implement a gacha system.
Hey Stix what do you think about Summoners War Sky Arena? Im curious how you would rank this massive 10 year lasting game with its big world wide tournaments.
I completely agree, ProjectSekai is definitely UR+, it is unfortunate that both your audio and video glitched when you were talking about it.
Lmao!
I really like that you put Reverse 1999 to top because it deservet it. It isn´t for everyone for sure, but it is really unique and amazing game. It is pity that it isn´t that popular.
Having played most of these games, I feel that you've done a very good job evaluating all of them! Kudos!
Thank you! What games would you rate as UR?
@@Stixxy I'd say Arknights and HSR is up there in terms of my favorites right now. I actually tried NIKKE during launch, but I wasn't quite into it. I'll be giving it another shot given your recommendation though. Also I'd probably bump down Azur Lane just a smidge. I'm a big fan of the art and how casual it is, but the gameplay leaves much to be desired. Overall, it's a great list and I appreciate how hidden gems like Reverse1999 and Brown Dust 2 got some love.
Counterside has a very deep and complex storyline, shame that it was pretty much a p2w oriented. you wont be able to get pass some levels like Dive or the lvl120+ levels if youre not strong enough.
Also, Awakened units makes most of the normal SSR characters irrelevant to use.
Looks like a skill issue to me
@@kylof8622dude its really a pay 2 win game
@@johnny69387 i been playing for three months since anniversary when they gave out a shit tons of resources, pulls, ships, and awakenings literally for free (even right now they got 50 free pulls going on) Beat dive 60, doing pretty good on every end game rankings without having essential units so idk what y’all been on about
Why did you change the art for HSR? Just curious it threw me off lol
can you please cover Cat Fantasy? I really like it but it's been months already yet it's still in beta 😭
story is fully voiced and animated, the character models I mean(in the story) and more.
I'm glad to see azur lane at the top it's extremely FTP friendly, they even have a UR event on right now where you summon with tickets gotten from playing the game rather than currency.
And here i am still couldn't get ur after 135 pull 💀
As a beginner from soyuz banner. Im so glad i got kronsdadt in 30 pulls. Im dissapointed because my impatient ass couldn't hold to pull the banner with the ticket instead of cubes
Reverse 1999 definitely deserves the UR. Solid list overall.
Thank you! Glad you agree!!
Yeah!!
Canto 6 will make you place Limbussy in UR. Head my words. Good vid.
I might need a list transcript of every tier 😅, it's hard to keep it up with so many titles
Currently only gacha game i play is "NIKKE" which i like a lot. I quit/took a break from a few others. But i am waiting on "Persona 5: The Phantom X" being released on global. Once it does i plan on playing both :P
Have you played the side story for NIKKE yet?
@@T29hotrod Not yet, i will do that on sunday i think :D
@@Kehaan its very good, its leading up to the 1.5 anniversary, you'll love it. 👍
@T29hotrod does it have spoilers for the story I'm on ch 16
wait minecraft UA-camrs actually play NIKKE? I mean shouldn’t be a surprise or a big deal but kind of now what I was expecting
Limbus mentioned!!! New chapter just released and it has both great story and great fights to say the least.
It's almost time for me to get back to it then!
I started playing limbus few days ago!??
Its such a banger
Hey Stix, awesome tier list , i agree with every single one actually ! Especially as a 100+ commander level in Azur Lane kekW! It's legit the only game that i always have on my emulator on pc and my weak potato phone (bad cpu but has good amount of storage). Azur Lane really is one of the most F2P friendly gacha games there is! You can get any unit you want , usually any time you want and you only have to get 1 of them and then later on , limit break them with Bulin's (AL's mechanism for dupes that are obtained all the time for free for just playing the game). Although the gameplay is pretty simple and bad(its usually all auto). There is still lots of hard content to do where you are required to use specific units with special traits and attacks! This does not mean that you have 5 units that you can choose from tho , you can choose from like 50 different units that have the traits that the stage requires!
You can get free skins, free gems, free units, free cubes(pulls), and many many other things which is super awesome!
One question tho : You didn't mentioned 7DS:GC (Seven Deadly Sins : Grand Cross) , im quite interested in your opinion on it if you've ever played it!
Best regards and much love ! ❤
I'm slowly playing through Grand Cross! I can't rate it until I've played it long enough, but I'll have a video on it in the next month or two!
Agree on MementoMori, the game is stunning with great music. However the biggest issue with the game is that pretty much everything else is locked behind a pay wall. Despite it being an idle game, it takes pretty much forever to get a character at a useable rarity, gears, runes. Very p2w game overall. Totally not recommended
Oof, if Path to Nowhere is in SSR, I would really appreciate if you elaborated a bit more on why its good rather than just mature Arknights.
I attempted to keep things short and concise as to not draw things out too long!
I only play arknight and not PTN but i know some people who prefer non chibi for the deployed character and after the horrible thing that is Time Defender who failed horribly at that, i think PTN do a good job on applying it and i ever read that they have the skip feature which one of the thing that i dont like from arknight for not having it
20:00 fair enough, but the games actually a lot of fun for "team management" BP (power) is irrelevant, you can clear alot more than you would think just through good team comp. I'm talking like 300-400M BP above your own team. (That's alot for those who haven't played haha)
The rest of the active gameplay is PvP/guild wars, which are surprisingly fun but require a fair amount of teamwork
Fine this have convinced me to drop Outerplane, will stick with Nikke, Brown dust 2 and Solo Leveling as my main as i wait for Wuthering waves and Azure Promilia
Bd2 is a ur quality game.its perfect.like it has everything and the combat actually needs some bcz to play 🤧
You gonna cover the leaked meeting between the Shanghai Gacha development companies? A lot of it talked about changing their marketing strategies ahead of the coming economic squeeze in CN, and their discovery of foreigners calling some games "Wife Games".
Wait where was this discussed?
@@StixxyI saw it on twitter with a few pictures attached , TLDR Shanghai group / party backs the development of genshin and honkai anime films . The pictures attached contained one with the communist party flag and a meeting
@@Stixxy I saw it in the Azur Promilia discord and went down the rabbit hole to Tieba. Different drama than what the other guy is talking about, this one was discussing pricing, monetization, and Snowbreak, not any movies or films.
Dude, I dropped Memento Mori for the same reasons as to why you hate it. Also, same why I stopped playing all the games you rated from Rare to Normal.
Yup.. it's a beautiful game but my god progression feels impossible lmao
Agreed i played gen for almost 3 yrs cleared every content full stars resets, i can say that it is good but not the peak of open world. There are mechanics that the game still lacks and given that it wont be added so the experience was good-best but not peak of open world gacha
The only Gacha that still stixs to me is Snowbreak. Not because of the Cultured direction they're doing now, but how relaxing playing it compared with others.
If you reach elysium realm arc and kolosten arc in HI3, the game will get higher rank. The music, the short animation, the story, this is “ the masterpiece”.
I love Epic 7 its the one i play the most, sad its low on here but i can understand!
Yet another bomb Tier list Stix. Couldn’t have done a better one myself, and I’m honestly glad and surprised that HSR, R1999 and OF COURSE Nikke made the UR list. Now, how in the hell did ZZZ: The TV Puzzle game make SSR? You’re not being nice are you? I’m already letting the OBVIOUS bias you have towards ToF being and Snowbreak slide, but ZZZ an SSR. We both know you put it there for the waifus and nothing more….
haha thanks man! And thanks for watching as always. As for ZZZ, it's because the voice acting was solid, character models were great, combat was really good, mini games were a ton of fun. Just the TVs might've dragged it down to an SR.. but they confirmed they were drastically altering the focus on the TVs so I'm giving them an early pass!
Well... AG PC Client just dropped. Though only in CN, Global may be in the next in line. Seeing that Global's anniversary is on May
For some reason Epic Seven is the best there is in my opinion, don’t ask why, I can’t argue
It’s just too damn good
I agree, they do a lot to make the game better all the time too.
Epic Seven definitely needed to be in SSR or UR its one of the more fun turn based games
A good list especially for someone new to the genre, keep up the good work
Thank you! Appreciate that!!
Cant wait for 2025 list, cant imagine what gacha game would be and look like in the future🎉.
Yup! I'm excited!
I play Legend of Neverland.
But tbh, I just do my dailies and leave. I only play because I could reliably make the mc look like my character lol.
For me bd2 is the epitome of f2p friendly, been playing for a 3 months and ive already pulled 80% of the current characters and even having some ur characters at +3 and i still have 19k gems and 70 tickets, the the rates are somewhat questionable since i kept getting off rates but its still good
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
How would you rate Pokemon Masters EX?
Good question
Garbage tier
Brown dust 2 is awesome and i love how high it is on your list! Sexiest skill scenes ever!
Heck yeah!!
I agree with the honkai impact ranking, but i think it could have been higher imo. you were right about the fact that the story gets better the further you play, but chapter 12 isn't anywhere near the best parts of the story. you should defo play further
I will be!!
Anime/manga/manwha based gacha games for me would not work. Players already know the story of they are really a fan of it.
I disagree on the Genshin rating. I am no longer an active player of Genshin but I still respect what they started for gacha gaming, the story/lore, the gameplay, their earnings and many more. I am surprised that Genshin is not good enough for you, based on what it delivered and contributed to gacha gaming community.
Glad to see PTN on the upper part of the list. Definitely deserves it.
For me i think Arknights world is the best out of all the gacha in this tier for me
I wouldn't have been able to put nikke in UR even if I appreciate it, the gameplay is non-existent and boring 4 characters behind a wall making their asses dance... well SSR is ok but UR isn't
as for pgr I would have put it in UR if it wasn't becoming more and more P2W with each update you can feel the gap between f2p and p2w accounts more and more, sad.
King's Raid should be at the bottom-end of the list, it was murdered so bad by Vestroll.
If it were the old KR, the KR I've known for a long time... yeah it could be higher, SR maybe.
I would rate SSR cuz it has no significance flaws
But I wonder if it's considered a gacha game
@@giangtrinhtruong7952 it is definitely more "gacha" than Limbus LMAO
Would rate the game SSR or UR, since it maintains a good balance of Waifu and Husbando characters, if the devs were actually listening to their playerbase and hadn't f****d up the game on 2021. I miss my Chase and FFrey :')
@@shimoncarlogdml9639 same bro
KING'S RAID USED TO BE SOO GOOD and I like it so much because the characters are so unique and probably the only game where there are hot MALE characters instead of just big breast women. I miss beach costumes for Chase and Crow
Guardian tales is underrated
It's one of the best RPG games available on PlayStore Very F2p friendly 🙂
Yup. Wish more people played it!
i get fire emblem heroes transcends all other games on this list and is in their own tier, but you should still mention them!
Haha I’ve never played it, unfortunately!
@@Stixxy That might be a fun kind of video series for you to do. Checking out older gachas you never tried.
any idea how much money/how likely it is for idoly pride to eos this year? lol
Also, is PGR very buggy for anyone else? I keep getting weird glitches with the occasional crash. I'm on PC. The other gacha games I play are no where near as buggy.
I remember having a similar problem on the PC version, it fixed when I reinstalled the game, never had the problem again.
@@cykerblaz2132 I might have to try that. One minute the character art in the dialogue scenes is glitching out like it's Doki Doki Literature Club or something, and the next my character just doesn't lock onto the boss in co-op mode.
Even my brother had an invisible maze glitch during the Corrupted Battleground event. I've just been chalking it up to being too used to that Mihoyo polish. But my other non Hoyo gacha games I play run pretty smoothly...
@@Fxrrxt2x that's really weird, I only got crashes and a few visual bugs. Also, check if the game is actually using your GPU, some games for some reason use the Integrated graphics as default and that may cause some bugs and crashes.
you need to add chapters pls so i can download the games easier its so hard filliping back and forth just to get the name of the game
I'd say that's a very fair spot for Genshin. It doesn't have everything, and it's nowhere near as generous as the others in UR. All those UR games are beloved.
**Holds rock behind back**
So lemme get this straight, big titty women with pixel idle gameplay is a UR Gacha Game, and a full fledged game, with a good story, f2p friendliness and good endgame content AND great characters is SSR? Rigged list
No timestamp on each game.. :(
Azur lane in UR love to see it, playing since a month after it came out on Global and never stopped, truly one of if not the best Gacha game around imo
I play 90% game that you play...
The tier list kinda accurate..i stop A LOT of game recently ..
My main game for now..yah i play all game in one sitting (genshin,arknights,HSR,SB,BA,nikke,AFKJ)...
Btw SB is not dying...
Genshin and Star Rail have the best production values, and are the only gacha which managed to retain me as a player long term.
I'm excited to try Wuthering Waves and ZZZ.
lowkey recycled character model tbh
My fav Gacha is still Hsr. I just love casual gaming with a decent Narrative
i know it very stupid to say, but ch9 is like the true beginning in Hi3rd, everything before is just build up character and world. It do get better and better but i'm happy that it on SSR tier.
This feels so Iromic for pgr since its story has the exact same thing. Chapter 9 is where the story starts to get good
"Why play a game that gets good at the 10th hour when I can play a game that is good from hour 0?"
Not saying that the story is bad, but it does have that glaring flaw. Getting good late doesn't justify a lukewarm start. If you compare with honkai star rail, which has a really strong start, I do think that it could be better.
Everything from that up to Herscher of Flamescion is really good tho🔥
Ps.: I just saw the "I know it's stupid..." at the start, so you probably knew this and wrote the comment with that in mind, my bad🗿
9:32 it was a technical test not a beta test
Imagine when it will have beta test i will be so much fun🤌🤌
I still playing seven mortal sin's xtasy but at that point I think it's going to close soon 😢
I love how it's not even mentioned, just gets put into the lowest tier and move on.
Caught in 4k
Nice let's go and watch this
can someone convert this list into text list?
i kinda agree with some of your opinions, but if this is a best and worst gacha games 2024 then why do you not include the big ones?
i mean you talk about fierce fight fairy tail but ignore games like dokkan battle, ff7 ever crisis, 7ds grand cross, etc......
love the reverse 1999 UR, it is absolutely sick and deserves this spot... the problem tho is the gacha..... i started this game and saved ALL my ressources to crash on the spathodea banner. i got 2 copies with all i threw at it, which is not even the breakpoint where she gets good. there is so much good about the game, but this terrible punishing gacha is so disgusting, it made me quit the game... i just dont enjoy preparing for something i want to get and even tho i do everything necessary for it and still get shafted.
2nd problem is the character progression for new players.... i get it, you should not be stressed about progression in this game, but farming 2 months to get a character to i3 and resonance 10??? during those 2 months this character will already be outdated.
ah well im mostly frustrated this gem of a game has such brutal downsides. headphones + storymode or event mode was mindblowing.
No summoners war? The only game who have been in top10 revenue of gacha games for almost 10 years now?
Never played it, can't rate it!
What dictated whether or not a game was gonna be on this list?
You did some anime ones but not popular ones like mha
And you did tactical games but not Langrisser which has been around for years
It's based off of Gacha games I've played. If I haven't played at least 10 hours of it, I won't include it because I think it's disingenuous of me to rate a game I played for 20 minutes.
I disagree that PGR's story sets it back - it is excellent and goes deeper beneath the surface than most, just like Arknight's and GFL's story. The fact that you also rated AK down for its story tells me that you prefer shorter, easier to digest narratives, which is understandable. I get that these games' stories aren't everyone's cup of tea being that they (1) are a slow burn and don't get going until the later chapters - unlike say R:1999, Limbus Company, or Nikke chapter 1, there is a lack of a prologue hook; and (2) they are heavy on reading, and some people have difficulty immersing themselves into gacha lore without some vocalization or visual feedback from animated cutscenes like in HSR.
Yeah my issue is that I feel like the stories could be condensed a lot, and move much quicker to get across plot points - they both have great stories, they’re just told very slowly unfortunately.
@@Stixxy Which is fair, the localization for these games also holds them back considering the amount of text we're getting. I get the feeling that this might end up being the case with WuWa as well, from what we've seen so far in the CBTs it also takes a while to get to the juicier stuff. Though WuWa has the benefit of having ingame animations to get its story across. We'll see!
I am probably in the minority in that I have no problem reading through the visual novel of PGR's story. In fact I get pretty dang immersed in it. Helps that I grew up with text heavy RPGs so this is not an issue for me. Though can understand people who are not keen on text heavy games being turned off by it.
@@GreatTwilight Personally, I'm very much into text-heavy games. (In fact, I think I`ve already read around 100 visual novels or so, including some VERY long ones.) However... I feel like that doesn't always mesh well with the way gacha games are designed, and especially the culture surrounding them.
It feels like there is always a pressure to progress quickly, especially during the early game - You are bombarded with extra stamina from progressing through the story, and you "have" to spend it quickly so you don't "waste" it from being overcaped, for example. No to mention a lot of games include competitive aspects that make you feel you are falling behind if you don't hurry with the progression. And once the initial hype has settled down for a bit... I will often just do the bare minimum every day and not feel pressured to advance through the story... Until, suddenly, a limited time event drops that requires me to to be up to day in order to participate, and I feel the hurry to catch up all over again. (Gladly this isn't a problem in PGR, but I really feel it in games like HSR and Limbus Company.) And all of tis gets exarcerbated if you have other concerns like school or a job or something. ^^;
(Oh, and the events tehmselves often incentivise you to finish the story quickly so you can start grinding the advanced event stages or something. Especially when there is a limited daily event currency, or they make it hard to get everything from the event shop if you don't start early)
All of which often ends up creating a bit of a catch 22. Either I ready everything in a bit of a hurry and don't fully enjoy it, or I end up skipping it for now so I can read it at my own pace later... (assuming there is an in-game "library") But this also means I end up experiencing the story in a completely dissoated manner from the gameplay. (So... I don't get to experience the hype leading up to a boss batle, for example.)
This is not a problem on single player games without all of the Live Service skinner box BS, though.
That aside... I feel like, as Stynx said, the problem with the way a lot of those stories are written is no that they are long, per se, but rather that they feel bloated. Like they could have gotten their point across in a lot fewer words. And while the "lore" is often very interesting, the dialogue often feel stiff (possibly due to localization issues.) This doesn't make the stories bad necessarily, but... Combined with the pressure to progress quickly, this can make them difficult to enjoy at times.
Brother. Pgr story is boring to put it lightly. But to be fair it's terrible, written by a unexperienced writer as a homework in kindergarten. I've played and read until space station attack (19 chapter?). It is terrible. On the oposite site: Nikke from the very beginning is intrugining, throws actions and questions at you and plot twists.
Honkai Star Rail taught me last year that gacha games aren't all garbage. The monetization aspect works as a difficulty option, where a f2p player getting only one copy of the limited characters gets the full experience, or "normal" difficulty, while the spenders essentially unlock "easy" and "very easy" by going for duplicates and limited weapons. I love this approach and the roguelike mode with its expansions are so much fun.
That’s a great mindset and I will be using it ;)
How does it work? I am considering on having a gacha game. Do they eventually rerun banners, or does every player, new or not get default one copy of every character?
@@ys3606Yes, most rerun banners or add them to the basic pool, but they really try to induce FOMO (fear of missing out) so the reruns aren’t for a while. I only play to pass the time when I don’t have time to play my Steam Deck or other systems.
Everbody know Fate/GO golden age ended around 2019-2020 but not getting an SSR? Okey... it's old a lil bit, but I never stopped playing until 2022 so imo I can't imagine Azur lane get an UR and Fate is only SR. This is more like a waifu collector gatcha tier list, that would be more correct. (Okey, HSR can earn the UR tier)
Agree. Shit talking on fgo became a natural thing. I find it stupid how everyone says that it has the worst gacha when it has one of the best rate-ups for ssrs (80/20 instead of stupid and for some reason popular 50/50). While the rates are low they are not the lowest (fuck hoyo games). Im not saying that it has a good gacha but its not as terrible as people make it out to be. Also it baffles that noone mentions the real biggest flaw in fgo gacha that is rate-up for multiple srs on a single banner.
Why no chapters?
I only play path to nowhere nowadays...enjoyable, but banner pull has no luck at all
Raid shadow legends should definitely be in the do not download tier
How is honkai star rail above Honkai impact 3rd? Anybody explain pls.
what Solo Leveling Arise is by far the best game here my opinion and a i played all of them!
I've played most of the games and I would have placed it higher than sr but not UR, Nikke and Brown dust 2 are far more enjoyable, even honkai star rail eventhough I dropped it too wordy, combat and story are excellent but the NEED FOR GOLD, is killing the hype for me
Where would you place The Battle Cats?
Aether Gazer should be higher. I feel like your rating for that game was because of early game updates it's been changed by a lot now.
Let's wait until PC client is released officially
@@giangtrinhtruong7952 yeah but he played it during early gaming that's what he said in his previous videos in the past.
Especially what 3.0 is cooking right now.
You ever play atelier resliana?
Best game
HSR is for me THE BEST gacha game in 2024
i don't like gasha games with energy limit, it's annoying to wait energy fill up...
Honestly pretty glad we have very similar taste in gachas. I definitely agree with pretty much everything on the list, though I do wish PGR was UR, lol. I do think PGR's gameplay massively makes up for the issues it has, but you already admitted that action rpgs aren't your thing normally. But I'm so glad Nikke and Reverse 1999 are in UR
Yeah, I love action games, but turn-based JRPG style games have always been my favorite. You have good taste!
@@Stixxy Thanks! and keep up the good work
Not rating Love and Deep Space? It's actually not just romance.
I haven’t played it!
Okay, if you do plan to, let me warn you that according to my wife, combat is decent, but nothing spectacular. Character advancement is absolutely horrible and not enough resources is given even when you buy battle pass. Story is good. Presentation is great.
Edit: I just talked to her again. It's more like combat is decent for otome game, but horrible for action game. Story is just decent. Character interaction is great, not the presentation, which is just okay.
I believe that the story will truly pick up once we pass the 1st year if Deepspace’s predecessor MLQC is any indication. But yeah, Papergames is rather scummy.
How is Honkai Impact 3rd not UR??? The best story I have ever seen in any game. Very free to play friendly. Nowadays you can get every new character full geared 100% free to play. Great endgame content. What more do you want?
Azur Lane isn't f2p friendly, its about 50-80$ for comfort playing (dock space never enough:) + skins ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯
Not only Azur lane is a very good game, it is very Educational too. I learned a lot of WW2 ships and even WW2 naval battles because of it. The story itself is based on WW2 events. The waifus are cherries on top.
Hmm.... I don't think PGR will be better if its open world. I think PGR needs a better story and its presentation, especially to hook new player into their story. I'm one of them that skip the story because it didn't interest me at all. I don't wanna look/read at silent visual novel while PGR has the best gameplay for mobile games. I think the story could be done in a small open area with the 3d models and voice acting (some section of the story already doing this but it could be better).
Also why the open world doesnt work I think it came down to the gameplay of orb system. The instance based missions suits the orb system more rather than open world. And PGR most of the time is just boss battle, which only has 1 target.
Dude the story is great
I do agree that you can just skip the first 8 chapters and read a short summary, but you'll understand why pgr fans are so invested in the story by the time you get to chapter 17.
@@lemonadeenjoyer7111 i heard theyre good later, but its hard to get invested. I'd rather read novels honestly, and now I dont have much time for PGR unfortunately.
@@menosgenerade6697 ehz it's ok, everyone's busy this time of the year, I've been literally doing nothing but studying for like 2 months straight 💀
HSR is by far the highest quality gacha out there. But there's just something slightly off about it. Can't really wrap my hand around it.
The lightcones, relics, traces, eidolons are all standard stuff. It's basically your weapon, gear, special gear, skill books, and ascension/transcendance. Yet it still somehow feels a bit off. The UI makes it rather difficult to sort through your gear and identify the best pieces.
The gameplay is also great and there are tons of things to do and farm. Love the simulated universe to death, wish more gachas had a roguelite mode. And yet it's.... boring.
The more I think about it, the more I start to believe that the reason why I can't bring myself to play it although it's installed on my phone is the cutscenes. For the main story, it's about 10min of cutscenes per 45 second fight. It's just super frustrating that you're FORCED to pay attention to the story. Granted, the story is great at times, but the game does kind of take your time hostage.
Also, the camera angle for the fights is just weird. I can't help but think that I would've enjoyed it immensely more if it was just a 2D game like E7. Instead, I found myself quitting it twice now.
Also, shout out to Outerplane. I love that game and hope it becomes as big as E7 in the future, if not bigger. It's really good.
Quests dont have skip button really waste time of me, I cant bring myself sitting idly doing that
Nah, no hope for outerplane, that shit gonna close soon, I'm pretty sure of it.
Here are some why :
1. Removing pity tickets :) (the worst of all)
2. Starting to make characters that is dupe hungry
3. Making QoL that's actually killing the purpose of the previously implemented feature (side story)
4. Boring af story, very very very boring, E7 was better, and more enjoyable. Both have similar story, just wrapped in different package
5. Premium currency incomes starting to feels like meh.
I think those are some fatal reasons why i think that game is gonna close soon
@@karakkyo5902 I disagree.
I haven't played when "pity tickets" existed, but there's still mileage that CARRIES OVER, so you can save up and get any unit you want.
Dupe-hungry chars I agree with. D.Vlada being the most prominent example.
For the side story, you still get pieces for first clear. Apart from that, does it matter if you sweep a side story stage for pieces or a dedicated challenge
For the story, I couldn't care less, I have no clue what it's about, I just skip in every game. That's why HSR is so bothersome to me.
Premium currency income is great, idk what you're talking about. It's ~10,000 diamonds per month. Plus, you can summon Demiurges (equivalent of ML characters in E7) with premium currency, plus you get two pulls PER DAY for demiurges free.
It's better than E7 in every regard. Once they implement more content, I can see it becoming as big tbh
fun list i agree with this
Hehe glad to hear it man!!
I think the whole pay2win aspect of gacha games makes them unappealing but Arknights is the only gacha game I gave a chance and tbh it's pretty good
Finding p2w gacha is harder than a normal one. I personally never encountered one and ive tried out many games. Paying in gacha game is not about winning but about getting rare characters that you want. They can make things significantly easier but they arent necessary to play.
Azur Lane being one of the first gacha game I played back in 2019 ruined the gacha games for me. Other gacha games just feels like a cash grab.
What is the deal with horrible screeching sounds? STOP IT!
Azur Lane is fkn very F2P friendly, you can get the gears just from grinding. and Oils are always sufficient since youll get 4k weekly and limit breaking.. damn this is the pinnacle of gacha games. Also Idol Lane will be back soon so save your cubes
Reverse 1999 is so criminally underated its not even funny. The stories amazing, the characters are gorgeously designed, the gacha systems good, combats fun, you can just open the game and auto farm 4 at a time and in my personal opinion I really like that CN and global arent linked exactly so I can make a line of which characters I want to roll for.
just downloaded it rn on pc, havent started yet as i am downloading the voice packs, but im a sucker for JRPGS and Gachas
FGO game is fantastic but the gacha is brutal. i still have nightmeres of Ereshkigal banners xD.
When I saw the DMC gacha I laughed my ass out lol
90% agreeable. you did well.
Thank you! Appreciate that!
