@Gabriella Morris it's not that they are leaving her behind because she has a disability, but because they breed their goats, they need good genes in their herd. Because Delilah has her heart problem what if it flares up again while she is pregnant or passes it on to her babies? As they said in a instagram comment, she will have to go to a really home as a pet. She can't be a breeding doe. It's just not worth the risk and Delilah could really thrive in a different family. I do however think she would make a very pretty show goat!

when you guys don't need to divide stalls anymore, you should just remove the dividers, and make it one big stall. Just an idea so that they can all be together.🥰
Liza and the 7 chickens i believe that the stalls is help the babies and mothers bond. Also that way the mothers don’t fight with each other, or accidentally hurt a baby that is trying to nurse from a different mother. Plus knowing how small Delilah is and her heart problems, probably the best she doesn’t roughhouse with the other babies. In the end, when everyone is happy and healthy, they’ll be let out together all the time! ♥️

I'm so excited to start seeing willow constantly walking up to the milking station just waiting to get milked! it seems like just yesterday willow was hoping and bouncing around just like her little ones. And if she stays smaller than average they would have to use a tiny buck as well or her babies might be too big for her. I think she should be sold as a pet only.

Hello! My cat is in labor as I type, the poor girl. Excessive grooming everywhere except her genital area because her belly is so huge that she can't reach there anymore. She's panting and just extremely affectionate right now. I'm expecting 5 babies, minimum. The most I'm expecting is 9 or 10, but my actual prediction is more like 7 babies. I'll update this as she gives birth! The theme for the baby kitten names is planets, so feel free to tell me your favorite planet names

I pray that Delilah is comfortable and heals. It breaks my heart to watch her breathe. They grow so quickly, I think she needs more lasix to get on top of the fluid overload. Please don't wait too long to call the vet, the sooner the better. Just my observation as a former RN.
