I reached DLv.19 with Utopia easily, but got de-ranked to 17 after unlucky streaks, then climbed back up with Galaxy-Eyes. If you're familiar with Utopia, it's the best budget choice for now. Not as brain dead as Galaxy-Eyes and Spiders, but has higher chance of succeeding if you're familiar with 2 of the most useful combo lines. I met people who played my Spiders and Lyrilusc in DLv.18 too, so they're both still viable. :D
Guess I'll just give in and craft Snake-eyes. Since I came back to the game I've been on the fence because I've been enjoying Yubel but the upper levels of the XYZ cup are all Labrynth anyway. The Spider OTK was fun for a while but now I just wanna hurt people's feelings and do bad things.
Yeah our lists look nothing alike, which is good because it opens the door for debate (internal debate, meaning me taking whatever I can to improve my own list) I use a much smaller Snake Eyes engine but the full Lyrilusc (sans the shitty trap card or the in-archetype negate since I don't have the space for it) and the 9 Magician's Soul / Preparations and Illusion of Chaos package, I want to see as much gas as possible which is kinda the idea for a 60-card deck, I use Feather Storm which sadly we cannot search (except with Trap Trick) but is pretty much an auto win in almost every format except an stun heavy one which this event can be though, so that's that.
Lyrilusc is an outdated engine. It's a 2 cards combo at best, so using Snake-Eye as the main engine is much better. 60 cards deck works best if you're playing garnets and don't really need staples, so it might work for decks like Lyrilusc which can play generic Lv.1 monsters. I personally think that going 1st is harder in this format, but Fire King might work. :D
You don't need this deck. I'm playing budget Utopia with 2 additional Lightning Storm and Duster, and it's really easy to reach DLv.17. I'm waiting for the 2nd set of missions for DLv.Max, probably on Monday or Tuesday. XD

Yeah, upper levels are harder.
You need more back row removals, and spiders lack the consistency. XD
