DIY fitting the Cetus Sieve pond filter goes terribly wrong!

We replaced the vortex for the Cetus Sieve filter perfectly but we got the physics wrong regarding attaching it to our other filters. Don't make the same mistake.

I had the same problem, with the 90deg boot. It came off while I was at work flooded my hole pit. 😉 lol cheers

I am sure you will solve it. My system runs a pump after sieve into a bead filter. All pressurized after that. The tempest is normally under pressure. So I think it will work out good.

@@ianovpreston Only seen one once and as soon as it saw me walk into the kitchen it was gone in a flash. Not sure if it's because the pond is close to the house. Also because the pond is 4ft deep at the sides and slopes down to 5ft in the centre. Any Heron would have to sit and wait by the side of the pond because it's to deep to wade in. Or maybe I've just been lucky.👍

subscribed - i think you probably want a bead filter or something rather than the big chamber. dont think 2 tempest and bakki shower will be enough looking at the size of the pond.

I think your right and if you look at my latest video I've now added two pressure filters and that may not be enough. Thanks for the advice.👍

Can't see the Tempest/shower set up working, Tempests have a flow rate of a measly 5,000Ltr an hour, that's not enough over a shower, that set up is no where near enough filtration for your pond.

Gravity fed, that's why we had to remove the three bay filter. Because all the water was emptying from the bay filter and filling the sieve. Thanks for your interest. 👍
