I think this add-on is pretty cool. The only criticism is that the Blizzard doesen’t create Snow covered layers
Maybe in 1.21 they will get the capabilities cause they aren't allowed to use experimental mode or maybe they didn’t think about it
Someone else commented the same thing! They could add snow layer blocks in a similar way to how the earthquake removes blocks and wood is turned into burned wood.
@@NibirBaishnab That’s probably it. I mean, you probably wouldn’t want people to spend money on something just to find out their world can’t use it because it isn’t experimental and that you have to risk your world in general for it since experimental settings are, y’know, experimental
@@CreatorProductionsOriginalit’s definetely that mojang did almost added the capabilities to reach the qualoty of java mods but marketplace addons won't be able to use experimental mode i wonder if local modders also get these new capabilities i mean it evolves over every meta of version like 1.18.30 has more capabilities from the previous 1.18 versions
This might be the coolest addon yet...
A sandstorm that leaves no sand behind, and a blizzard that leaves no snow behind. The villagers carried on like nothing was happening, till they started getting killed, but they should react / run indoors, etc.

True! I had not thought of a couple of those. Unfortunately, they cannot change villager behavior. The addon makers need to ensure that their content is compatible. Editing villager behavior could cause conflicts. Imagine they made the villagers run indoors from sandstorms but another addon made them attempt to do something different at the same time and they just get bugged out!
The sand and snow is of course doable, in a similar way to the earthquake removing blocks. I think that would make a great addition and I would not be surprised that they will see your comment and add that feature.
The blizzard should leave everything covered in snow.

Although it is very cool, I think it could be better with some work to make it worth the $7 it costs..
-it’d be cool if the tornado did more damage with a wider swath and destroyed structures and stuff
-blizzard should leave everything covered in snow
-desert should leave everything covered in sand somehow
Everything else is nice though!
But idk how modding on bedrock works and idk if you could change it like that but it would be cool if the tornado was more realistic.
Nonetheless, the idea of this addon is amazing
this addon is good, However the disasters shuld be more destructive in my opinion. like the tornado for example shuld also be able to destroy wooden blanks and break windows and that the tornado does Not target the player to balance it out. the same also applies to some other disasters.

Hey anyone know how to summon the tornado without the spawn egg? Been trying to use commands to summon it but it seems nearly impossible, any help would be appreciated

Cant tell if its from the add on but it looked like it added a small wind animation when no stroms happening. Is this true?
I think this is the intensive and immersive add-on, spark has ever created so far!
Spark makes some pretty cool stuff but this one certainly is intense! Great visuals and sound effects.
As nice as this mod is, it usually doesn't work. They all worked at the beginning, but now only 2 of them work (snowstorm and meteors). The disaster detector doesn't even work anymore. Any ideas? I've updated, reinstalled, nothing worked.

Also the meteor shower reminded me of Alduins fire storm shout from skyrim which is also a meteor shower, kinda wished enemy dragons in minecraft could try stuff like that.

Do they happen randomly or do you have to place them?

For some reason my world is glitched and whenever i try to spawn a tornado it says tornado is currently active

Are the tornados destructive? It was difficult to tell since you were caught in it the whole time lol. Also, would having mob griefing off stop the disasters from destroying everything? I like the idea of dangerous weather but not so much having my castle and all the terrain jacked up constantly

@@anxiouselden1133 I saw elsewhere that turning off monster griefing, fire spreads, and tnt explodes will stop the destruction. I bought it and tested myself - earthquakes still create ravines, as expected tbh, and acid rain/lightning storms still destroy tops of trees. Other than that it leaves things intact

Can you edit the area of effect for the natural disasters? I am making a hunger game mini game for my friends and wondered if I could use this add on to make a storm, for players outside the ring.

For the snowstorm, does anyone know if snow piles up like it does when it normally snows in Minecraft? And does the snowstorm’s freezing effect, effect mobs like animals and villagers? Because whether or not I buy this is heavily impacted by these answers.
The snow doesn’t pile up sadly, but I don’t know if mobs get affected by the freezing effect.

I think this needs temperature and its perfect the update more disaster and effects
I had not thought of that! Lots of java mods have temperature bars. It would have fit in nicely with this addon. Maybe some items to cope with the disasters too, like goggles for sandstorms or wooly jackets for blizzard.

The tornado is cool but it chases after you rather than moving randomly which I find rather annoying, as well as sucking the player up even when in creative

Yes they do! 😀 You can change how often they happen with the Disaster Controller or you can spawn them yourself with the items.
