    That's a nice, useful SAK. I wish they'd step up to a better steel, I used to carry and use one extensively but every time I needed the knife it was duller than dishwater so I started carrying a real knife and never looked back.

      If you make one, let me know. I asked Victronox, it was a no. I carried a swiss army huntsman on all my deployments, in addition I carried a Benchmade or Cold Steel lock blade. I believe the modified outrider would allow carrying 1 knife for all tasks.

    What spring did you use for the spyderco blade? Great video man!

    • @SAKMods

      Thanks! I used a main blade spring.

    • @Dadoimp
      @Dadoimp 2 місяці тому +1

      @@SAKMods rly? But how does that work if you dont have something on the opposite side of the spyderco blade? I mean. If you put a standard Vic blade into the spring without something on the opposite side (small blade, nail file, combotool) the spring will not work... Can you understand my question?

    • @SAKMods
      @SAKMods  2 місяці тому +1

      @@Dadoimp I made a little spacer for the other side, so it puts tension on the blade.

    Great pocket knife. I wish Victoinox would make their knives with a decent knife steel. CTS-XHP or S30V would be fine. I'd stump up the extra money to pay for the higher production cost.

      Thanks! I just do that to show the blade has snap to it when opening, I don't actually do that when using knives.
