Hindu Academy aims to promote a Comprehensive and Rational vision of Hinduism incorporating ideas of Religious Pluralism, Spiritual Humanism, and resonance between Science and Spirituality. It operates with the education establishments by working with schools colleges and universities as well as in the mainstream media.
The role and relevance of Hinduism in contemporary society
Hinduism has a great deal to contribute towards the spiritual health of the modern world. Its inherent pluralistic teachings offer the best resolution to how people of different religions can co-exist peacefully in a multi-faith society. Hinduism even allows for spirituality to be explored in non-religious modes, making teachings relevant and interesting for the youth of today. Family values promoted by Hinduism can foster more stable family units and better community cohesion. The reconciliation between the truth claims of a science-oriented worldview and a religiously oriented worldview is obligatory in this century. The Hindu Academy invokes findings at the cutting edge of modern sciences to promote this reconciliation.

Thank you Lakhani hi for this enlightenment. Was wondering all my life, why did Ram send Sita away and why Sita maa had to endure the pain even after agni pariksha.

@@atharalimaan8509 it was the reason why today you are cursing him , is the reason he made sita mata leave , ramaayana is a history , not a story , he further tells in ramayana that in future everybody will always blame me but no one will question sita's purity , and that is what today's happening, we curse lord rama for his deed and nobody of us doubts about sita mata's purity. Thats why he was RAM

What if this twist in the story is actually meant to inspire our own sense of morality?
Ram is revered as the one who is most ethical. But at the end his choice is something we cannot morally agree with.
Perhaps this leads us to think about morality for ourselves, and not blindly follow the footsteps of others, even teachings from God.
It also shows that the standard of morals change with the passage of time. So what was right before may not be right today.
I think the twist adds to the story - if Ram was perfect the whole time it may grow dull. But the ending allows us to ponder and debate what is truly moral? And thus the story is passed on, and the quest for true morality continues.

Ram loved seeta like no one.. if not, why would he go all the way to srilanka and fight with ravan he could have left her that time itself and married some other women..and ram din say Sita to give agnipariksha for him self he is king he has to take care of people more then his own family that's what kings dhàrma is...otherwise he would have become ordinary..seeta never complained about it because she must knew about her husband very well that's the reason she stood with him for all his work..😊 till today see we all call seeta ram😊😊

This is what the God Rama wanted. He completely achieved his mission as a Great Husband and as a great Lover. God Rama has completely wiped out the blames on Sita Devi , instead, he created a sympathy on her by making Sita do Agni Pariksha and by sending her to the Valmiki ashram in the forest that he took all the blames on him which is actually happening right now that we are all pointing our fingers on Rama even after all these years as Ramayana was happened some lakhs of years ago, we're still blaming Rama but not Sita. Ram's mission achieved. Can't hold my tears anymore.

surely it's more 'damaging to the fabric of society' to have marriages of bondage, where there is no equality, respect or freedom for the female partner. surely patriarchy and 'toxic masculinity' is what is most 'damaging to the fabric of society'! I hate it when men rationalize and defend a misogynist story, dismissing the very valid feelings of upset that women feel when hearing this deeply troubling tale.

    • @augustedupin9576

It was a questionable decision for sure. But, come on, u can't just call it a misogynist tale.
Also, it was a very difficult decision for Lord Ram himself. The most difficult decision of his life. He himself never doubted her for a second. But a good king must respect public opinion.
Now was it fair for Maa Sita? Absolutely not.
But the end result of it all , was that from that point on no person has ever doubted Maa Sita's purity. The same public which was doubting Maa Sita was left regretful and ashamed when she was consumed by mother earth.
Not everything in Ramayan is an example of ideal behaviour. Somethings are lessons for what not to do in future.

Hello sir, please make a reasonable comparison, sita matha has not gone to other man but was kidnapped by other man(Ravana), so here keeping sita matha as queen doesn't change the moral into a woman can start living men nor thier change partners...
    Both the situations are different...

And his queen is the first amongst his subjects who deserved justice and it was the responsibility of the man for whom she had left everything to stand besides her when she needed him. And how does punishing a sinless person bring stability in society? What lord Ram did was a crime against all women. Even after having 0 fault in what happened to her, she suffered. As a result even today if a woman is harassed by men, she is the one who is blamed.
