    Thank you so much matt, i was convinced i would be rejected by Oxford, and nearly didnt apply, but then i thought about it, and i said to myself, this university is exactly what i want, i am gonna apply anyway.
    I was anxious throughout the whole process and thinking, oh i am definitely not getting an interview or an offer.
    It has now been almost 4 months since i got a medicine offer from oxford, and i cant wait to start in October

    I know this is for undergraduates but I got suggested this video and it really helped.
    I want to apply for a PhD at Cambridge but felt so unconfident since I only JUST meet the minimum entry requirements. But this video reminded me that still means I am eligible, it's only me stopping myself from being competitive.
    Thank you for such an insightful video

    You inspire me everyday... I have always had extremely low self-esteem but am ambitious enough to put myself in competitive situations and give things a go with the hope of achieving positives

    Thank you very much for this insightful,inspiring video. I love the idea of believing in our humanity. What an absolutely fantastic way to get past the self doubt that many of us sometimes get, the feeling of not being good enough/worthy enough to apply for something . I am so glad you made this video. I love your videos & I find your story very inspiring. Thank you so much! 🙏

    you are, I am, ... all the rest is a concept by the mind, trust that which is beyond fenomenality, no form no name, no beginning no end ... real origin-ality, to be gifted needs the readiness to receive

    I have finished my LNAT and personal statement 😆 but I'm not sure how I've performed in them. Now what worries me are the interviews (if I get any!)... I'm definitely not the best at talking nor arguing-- but I'm willing to give it a go

    I am not trying to be unconfident but my predicted grades are A*A*A, which makes me eligible, but after doing loads of online research, basically everyone that got in got 3 A* and some even had 4, all these data just keep getting my confidence low

    • @JesusCollegeOxford1571
      @JesusCollegeOxford1571  2 роки тому +3

      The problem with online research about grades is that only those willing to report their grades can be found as data. They are unrepresentative. The true distribution of A-levels is more diverse. And, eligibility is sufficient. If you prep well for any admissions tests you may have and the interview then you will be just as competitive (possibly more so) than someone struggling to manage their time whilst pursuing 4-5 A-levels. Good luck!

    Thank you so much for your videos! I need a little help actually, could you maybe make a video on written work required for applying, what topics you expect, what sort of marking and comments you expect from teachers and such? Actually I am from India and really not familiar with the essay work that is generally required for the course( I want to take History and English so I have to submit 3 written works) Thanks so much again!

    Hello Matt! Thank you so much for the video. I’m a student from IB1 and I’m going to take the TSA test this November, however my scores for the mocks are pretty low (around 55%), is it still possible for me to increase my score to 75%? Are there any other exams similar to TSA that I can use as practice materials?

    • @JesusCollegeOxford1571
      @JesusCollegeOxford1571  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Liz, yes, it should be possible to improve your scores. Have you seen my videos on TSA? ua-cam.com/users/JesusCollegeOxford1571search?query=tsa
