Added to that the fact that they are more agile on H:CE compared to H2 where they are just walking straight line like dumbasses.
The zealots were probably more shiny because a new ring had been discovered so more zealots
I always hated how as not just Halo, but videogames in general got more modern, the more they would simply REFUSE to use vibrant colors and shininess as we see here for Halo CE's elites and weapons.

Golden Elites are battleflieds commanders, they have 5 plasma shields, plasma granades and almost always use plasma sword but sometimes can use two plasma rifles and stealh camo
At no point in the CE campaign does a Zealot dual wield plasma rifles or throw grenades
Nothing wrong with exploring on any difficulty, i dont use easy but nothing wrong with it at all especially for your exploring/show case content

What do you think are the best elites in the Halo saga? My favorite elites are the ones from Halo CE. I think there AI contains the perfect amout of aggression and self preservation tactics, and on legendary i think they have the perfect amout of tankyness too were if you get lucky you can quickly despatch them but sometimes it can feel like a drawn out duel with the elite. Also i love the deep and metallic color of there armor.
It’s very close to Halo CE and Halo 2. CE elites have the absolute best color and that metallic reflection is beautiful. But Halo 2 elites have more variety in their armor configurations and the energy sword in 2 is the best. Between the two.
@@dualwielders1221 Thats true. One problem i have with the halo 2 elites is that they do not move enough and mostly just stand in one spot and fire at you.

The difficulty matters as long a it affects enemy frequency
Like, if this video was about Hunters, it would be mandatory to record at least on Heroic because there's a section on T&R where they are replaced by jackals on lower difficulties

I'm not even trying to seem like I'm bragging but every time in CE that I encountered I wiped the floor with them so I never knew people feared them till now.
I mean, at a certain skill level these guys are pretty disposable. Plasma pistol and UNSC pistol will make quick work of them if you know how to use them. But for the casual goer or even a new player to the game will have some trouble taking them down. Especially if they have full shields!
The sword guys are a joke. But those plasma rifle guys on heroic and legendary are no joke.

It'd be really cool if they didn't kill you if you stay still too. It is a code of honor to not kill an enemy who won't fight back.
I like to think that the golden elite in silent cartographer gives you a chance to survive if you run towards the platform.

What version of Halo 1 is this? Because, at me, if you get hit with the sword, you die.
It’s Halo MCC. But at the time we were playing on easy mode. It takes more than one strike on easy for the player to die, hence the multiple swings from the energy sword. Their were some viewers who didn’t like that, so we adjusted the difficulty to heroic/legendary in future “All Appearances” videos to accommodate and make for an overall more challenging experience.

It makes sense in the Arbiter levels but they should have sounded Alien when playing as MC.

tbh ce didn't have the best levels but it was nostalgic and enjoyable
That’s true most levels were just walking in a bland environment going in a straight direction shooting everything that moves.. especially the library level with the flood that one just felt pointless and rushed

You can evade the gold elites?
Yes. Like any weapon, the energy sword is dangerous but also like any weapon it can only hit you within a certain range/radius. So, if you’re able to put a move on the elite during the attack (swinging) animation, and change the direction of your character while the elite motions the other way, it can cause a miss. This is most common on the level Assault On The Control Room, during the first bridge battle, falling through the glass was a good tactic to avoid the swing.

Golden elite on easy.
Getting gold elite footage on Legendary makes no sense. It’s not a trial of toughness, it’s a documentary displaying Halo’s golden elite appearances throughout the campaign. Playing on a hard difficulty isn’t very fun when recording content😂
