Really interesting to know. I've enjoyed lots of nature documentaries and survivalist shows, and even the best, well-produced ones with very credible biologists and experts have always advocated using the "credit card scraping" method and it always stuck with me. It's fantastic Dr. Yanagihara has shed some light on the biological make up of the venom of jellies and how to adequately treat stings. I hope her knowledge reaches those that need it most (like in those little fishing villages) to prevent unnecessary deaths.
