1st, Thanks for being Mr.facts and responsible for what u said, I admire that mate.
Now, Do I have to refresh the memory of all the wars that have been takin place during the last 90 years beginning with the world war I and ending with the massacre against Gaza... well since you know some facts then u can easily memorize those wars, including "LITTLE BOY" &"FAT MAN" the two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
but it surely will take time for humans to realize the consequences
    Cheers, Ihab

i live in Denmark.. When the wind blows we turn off the power plants we dont need. When the wind dosent blow we turn them on.. easy as that.. We are also hooked up to sweden/norway where we get power from that is 100% clean.

Haha, you're so right. This is pathetic. "Look ice bergs melt in summer, there are some floods, chimney's giving off water vapour (cause CO2 is invisible) and dry places in the world are....dry!"
What is the end result - tax me. Tax me please, I want to make a difference.

Just in case you weren't aware the sun goes threw cycles of heating and cooling. It just happens to be in a heating cycle right now when the earth and all the other planets are heating up. Just so you know, we have very little impact on the overall temperature of this planet. The more CO2 we emit, the more plants take in and the faster they grow. One major volcanic eruption emits more "pollution" in a few hours than we ever could in the same amount of time. So are we going to cap them off next?

scientists claim that ice that floats that surrounds the land disintegrates is not much of a problem, but when ice on land melts too and goes down to the ocean, then that they say is the problem, for melted ice is the primary cause of flooding. But the question is: Is it already happening?

  • @germanicelt

Ice suspended in the sea will not raise sea levels if it melts. Just do a little experiment in your kitchen with a jar of water and an ice cube.

Oh, and by the way. The whole Arctic Ice Cap can melt and it won't effect the Sea Level. Put some ice cubes in a glass of water and mark a line at the water level. When the floating ice melts the water is at the same level. Greenland?? At even the worst forecasts, it would take the Greenland cap a few thousand years to melt. Same with Antarctica. Technically we are still in an Ice Age because we still have Ice Caps and glaciers. Not out of it yet.

Climatologists have used various techniques and evidence to reconstruct a history of the Earth's past climate. From this data, they have found that during most of the Earth's history global temperatures were probably 8 to 15 degrees Celsius warmer than today. In the last billion years of climatic history, warmer conditions were broken by glacial periods starting at 925, 800, 680, 450, 330, and 2 million years before present.

in 50 years the level of CO2 will be tree times higer and most parts of the glacier will be melted , poor polar bear will be unable find a place where they be able to stand safely . Please people , lets think of how each one of us can stop the global warming . I am sure if each person will contribue we can stop this.

Even if every bit of fossil fuel that could be extracted at positive EROI was burned and it all was absorbed by the oceans it would only drop pH by a few tenths of a unit. there are 1.3 billion cubic km of seawater out there , you know.
Re. Beneficial effects. Even the IPCC admits that up to 3 deg C temp increase would be on the whole beneficial for global agriculture. The average since the 1050s has been 0.13 deg/decade. Or 1.3 deg/century. On the whole positive.Catastrophe cancelled.

Hey, let's save the planet. Live like our great great great grandparents. Shut down all electricity production. Use oil lamps and candles, ride bicycles and horses. Whoops... no computers or TV. Lot less food production too. And not more high tech drugs. No X-rays or CAT or PET scans or other electric stuff in hospitals.
Oh well! At least the planet survives while we die off. LOL

Yes it has been changing for 4 billion years, but those changes took place over hundreds of thousands of years. Now, the same changes are occurring over hundreds-if not tens of years. Nature does not have time to adapt to conditions that change so quickly, and as a result, you have drastic consequences, some of which we are already seeing today. ...cont'd

The last Interglacial, the Eemian, was about 5 degrees warmer then now. 125,000 years ago. Our ancestors survived, and so did the coral reefs and Polar Bears. Tree lines were about 350 miles further north. Pretty well an ice free Arctic Ocean.
Global Warming is nothing new. Just be glad it isn't Global Cooling. Then you would really have a serious problem. Imagine mile thick ice scraping cities from the face of the Earth and almost no crops growing at all. Global Cooling, and the ice returns. :(

I'd still like someone to tell me how what we do here on earth affects the other planets. I find it very interesting how all the planets are warming at the same rate. What could be causing that? Oh yeah, maybe, just maybe....THE SUN! Do you think that might be it? How come nobody ever takes into account, the very heat source for our planet as the cause of "global warming" or maybe we should call it "solar warming" since the sun is the cause and the whole solar system is involved. Think about it.

K people go ahead and be green, try and save the planet. It will do nothing. You cant stop what is happening to our planet. I wish it was us becuase we could do something about it, but when it the cause is something so powerful in the galaxy that we have no control over. I saw fuck it and enjoy the last few years we have left. Do the things you have always wanted to do, because time is running out, FAST.
