I was the same as you when it came to apps, eventually you cant get the app, then what. But that review "sold me" on the features. I suppose iTunes is good in that for my "purchased" list of apps (most of them free ones), it does offer to download older versions on iPhones that can't run the latest IOS. Hey you might have a small listener base Fred but you got one listener in Ukraine!
Hi. Thanks for the support. These little radios from China get better each year. Look out for an upcoming video where i get a CB contact out to The Ukraine and my good friend Dan makes it just on 10 watts.
@@CB-RADIO-UK For sure, cheers, will do! That'll be a good one.
Nice little radios but my XHDATA D-808 is still the queen...😊
I love grams
Grams of cocaine 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
Great review Fred. Thanks! I still think flashlights and sirens on radio's make them seem less serious. I would rather have an external antenna port or antenna tuning circuit. I also dislike the non-replaceable battery feature. That makes it an eventually disposable 40 dollar radio IMHO. I don't like multi-functional buttons, but the phone app makes it a lot better to deal with. Thanks mate...!
I totally agree
Nice review. ... When recording, is it recording the radio channel it's on is it recording our voice?
Channel i think.
Frid in the shed I learn lot from you about bying cb radios and antennas for cb radios my friend 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video as always Mr Fred
I have never like this Chinese radio's
Thay were all ways just cheap junk
But thay have come a long way
N now I'm looking at them a bit differently
Yes i know exactly what you mean. They have improved leaps and bounds. The broadcast SW band receive on this radio is actually pretty good.
The PC mode on this radio is for connecting the radio to a computer for an external speaker, I haven't tried this feature yet on my Raddy RF75A radio. I do enjoy the radio here in Pennsylvania.
Hello Fred , I hope that your well & that all is good . Amazing short wave radio & thank you for sharing as always .
I've just purchased a CB radio, PNI Escort HP 9500 , it's amazing for the cost , it has Motorola build quality , Din size with front speaker with amazing audio quality , it's type approved but as I understand there is a power mod that can be carried out .
The PNI Escort on the front appearance is similar to the President MC Kinley , you get a lot of radio quality for the price including a large decent mic . .
I also prefer the President MC Kinley to the President Grant II, as in the MC Kinley looks like a proper radio again with Motorola ABS solid build quality ,whereas I think that the President Grant II looks more like an in car stereo , but looks isn't everything of course & the Grant II is a great radio .
The down side to the Mc Kinley is the expensive price .
Never heard of your radio before but it looks a sound deal esp with front speaker. Been getting skip on my little CRT One radio this week. Yes the McKinley is well over priced in the UK.
Indeed there's been loads of skip & it's great that you have been making the most of that . The PNI Escort HP 9500 CB radio is absolutely Motorola quality & delivers a large display with amazing & very full audio sound quality & it's cheap ! , it's type approved with 2W / 4W switchable , I love it , it's a must have rest assured. @@CB-RADIO-UK
Cool little radio
Pretty thorough review Fred, and it might be one of those radios that can come in handy or get the grandkid's interested in a budget price radio. I checked Amazon (U.S.) while you were talking and found it selling for $52.99 + a 10% coupon, so for $47.70 it doesn't appear to be a huge risk. With Christmas coming up I think at least 2 grandkids will get 'em.
LBC the UK's right wing propaganda channel!
Frid in the shed my hobbies are painting pictures 🖼 and listening to shortwave and ssb iam thinking about getting my ham license
Frid in the shed your raddy rf-75a shortwave portable radio is awesome my friend 📻
SWL contest 2023 will start soon
With all the good features of this model (RF_75A Raddy) it is disappointing that the battery is not built to be removed at least by those who never took a radio apart and did some unsoldering. I'm debating if I want to do this ! I have years of working with electronic repairing however removing a battery that is firmly attached to a
Yes i get your point. Personally i would leave well alone and just buy a cheap rechargeable plug in battery pack.
How much is the radio Fred
Which is the best CB to buy Fred
Hi sells for around £50-55. Best CB depends on what you want. Local or Skip long distance. Best to watch my beginners series of vids. Starts here. ua-cam.com/video/-4dbYAigpvw/v-deo.html
The radio record is controlled by the APP (smart phone). There's no button for it on radio.
He says. todderbert channel. for this unit.
Yes a couple of Raddy radios are like this.
FYI... Nice Review but this radio does have a ferrite bar antenna. 17:09
Thanks for the info.

Very informative and comprehensive review. Seems like a lot of coverage and convenience for the price.
Thanks for watching!
Frid in the shed your utube videos are awesome my friend
Thanks Greg. All the best to you and family.
Thank you for the review
My pleasure!
does it pick up cb radio ?
No not really. You might get some AM CB on SW. Best pocket radio for CB AM FM and SSB is this one. ua-cam.com/video/jv3rKjK0MFY/v-deo.html
