You HAVE to be CREATIVE

- I've been struggling with the feeling of HAVING to be creative. I'm in a lockdown where I can only spend outside one hour a day for a walk and the rest of the time I could be doing (and SHOULD be doing) so many things. Except I am not. I am feeling so much pressure. And it's making me feel like a failure. So I made this, not sure exactly what it is, I bet it's not perfect and all that jazz and there is so much I could have done better if only I was better but it's okay like this. If you can spare 3 minutes of your time to watch it and tell me if you feel the same... well, it would mean a lot.

This is EXACTLY how I feel right now. I have so much time now to just unleash my creativity, but the pressure of that endless opportunity that I should be gaining is causing me to feel less and less creative. Thank you so much for expressing my inner turmoil in such a beautiful way
Don't push yourself to death.
I feel absolutely the same way, especially in quarentine. I go to open my laptop to write, nothing. I go to draw, nothing. I get enough energy to tune my ukulele, but I can never play. I spend hours online seeing and comparing my creative energy to other artist, until it just suffocates me. The way this is composed and brought forward is absolutely stunning. I empathize with your feelings of creativity, and I hope that you feel uplifted and supported soon
I have this same feeling, that I should be working on all these creative projects and then I need doing nine and feel so bad about myself. So you’re not alone. And you’re not a failure, even if you feel like it now. We can’t do everything.
I honestly agree on so many levels, the pressure of your self is the biggest demon to face.

I’m a 16 year old boy from England but my Grandmother is Italian and I love Italy so much and Napoli especially with all my heart. It is a dream of mine to live in Italy with my family. I am trying to learn Italian in this lockdown time too. But one thing I always wondered is what Italians would think of me going to live there and what they think about people from England. I would just like to be accepted like an Italian because I have so much passion for Italy and it where my heart is but I always worry what Italians would think of me ? I know it a weird question and not very clear but anyone in the comments know how to answer to me ?
Hi I'm Italian and I could say to you that doesn't matter if you are from England, in any country you will find people that don't like foreigners and will find any motivation for not trust you but at the same time you will find friend and people that will values you as you are.
Don't worry and don't give up

That's how I've been feeling for a month and it's awful. But I think this is an experience and it makes you grow once you really have to face it. Eventually we'll get through it. I’m doing a music degree, and I feel like I have all this time to do something about it and with it, create music, play music...but it’s just not happening. I feel exactly the same. I related to this so hard. This is a creation in itself! Thank you for making this x

This?? is?? me?? everyday i have to do something worthwhile. something i'm proud of, but pressure doesn't give me any motivation and makes me physically drained to think of anything. i get so mad at myself if i haven't done something, like today.
i felt like i was the only one like this, because people could endlessly watch a tv series but i don't think i could ever do that because i never feel like its enough for me to feel happy. even before corona, i felt like this. Although, i had an excuse before. i never had time because of school work and everything. but now i feel like i'm going insane because i can't do anything. i have a massive passion for drawing, learning languages, playing instruments, and i was going really good with it, especially in november/december. But now it's really stressing me out.

I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY! I SHOULD BE READING 3 BOOKS A DAY, WRITING A NOVEL, APPLYING TO COLLEGES, AND BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL GUITARIST! EXCEPT, NO!
Well, this short movie is pretty much creative. Btw I pass my days learning jazz solos on the guitar. I've just finished Grand Slam by Charlie Christian and now i'm transcribing Satin Doll by Wes Montgomery. Be strong my friend. A big hug from Italy. More real, less virtual. Find peace. It is ok to not do anything for few weeks. You know there are people who keep themselves busy so much that they do not realize what is important in life. Then, they find out that they have terminal illness. You are not judged by how much you accomplish in life. Start reading the book of John (part of the 66 books in the Bible). You will find Jesus there. Bible is not just mere words in a paper. It has power to transform your life beyond your imagination. And Jesus does say 'I give you peace that the world cannot give'. - from someone who cares!
