It seems like when the slug transforms it doesn't count anymore as spawned from the corpse, it's a brand new monster so it can leave the corpse. That synergies with leucotomy that triggers the monster's special ability

After it happened to me the first time I vowed to avoid him _at all costs_ on CL, will suffer with a disease instead of the bloodletting cleanse any day versus the unending, multi-meltdown agony of that fight I cannot lie.

yeah just do wanderer in updated heroes only in this team the only one that applied was Vestal, the other 3 are in the old system still and there is really no benefit in running them.
