Growing Eggplants from cutting

This video I conduct experiment on how can eggplant grow from cutting. people usually see eggplant growing from the seed, so I experiment by cutting them. well the result is nice most of them grown healthy. Growing from cutting you will the same variety as its mother plant.

Nice, I tried this but only 20% success but I am happy for the result. I planted 5 and grown one. I also marcotted at the same day and roots are now visible and ready to cut in few days with 100% growth. Thanks for this and happy planting.

No need to water while waiting for the roots to grow. The moist is enough for the to plant to grow until they can be transfer to the final spot

Very informative!! I killed my eggplant today coz theres this mexican beetle keep munching on the leaves leaving them lacey and the plant are dying. Maybe i can still save some stems from them.

I would try that and try bringing them INSIDE, where you can keep the bugs/pests away. South facing window for the best/right amount of light for them to grow.

A 45days old above eggplant,
the blossom part 6-8inch downward from the blossom, no disease in the plant (infected by pest etc.) thats all the criteria.
