Thank you so much indeed 😊. Cardiff is my second 🏡. I really miss Cardiff. I haven’t gone back there for 6 years. Your vlog really help me remind many beautiful memories in Cardiff, esp. Christmas. Take care 🥰🥰
Was at the Cardiff museum few weeks ago tock my boys they sort of like it .. not aloud to film in side so that was a pain but are aloud to take pictures and it’s free to get in .. good to see you got you’re flute fixed so quick and you didn’t have Covid19 the other week ❤️
Oh yeah! You're not allowed to filming the museum! We found this out years ago when we went specifically TO vlog in the museum. We got told off pretty early on in the proceedings and ending up called the vlog 'Not filming in the museum!' 😂 I'm glad your boys liked it. We used the resources in the hand-on discovery section a lot for our home ed. ua-cam.com/video/AlgYbEEUH0M/v-deo.html That's our not-museum vlog! Ha ha!
@@PlanetImo I’ve learned from past mistakes about filming so I always ask first but I did film my grandson up stairs because he was playing with the fun echo in the building and he’s only 1 so we just couldn’t stop him lol I will have a look at you’re vlog later if I got time just watch a bit of the one you just uploaded and I’m trying to sort out so many videos of mine I have a new phone
can't tell you how much we are enjoying your tour of the mall. and wait. was that a kid with legs flopping around on his head. lol. at 4:50. lol. that Christmas Markey looks amazing. and we are all about local shops and farms. and don't get me started about the street market. one of our favs. so glad we found you thru worms eye view. thank you so much for sharing. much love
Good evening my adventurous friend.. nice to see you having a sunny day for your trip into town. I noticed a Claire's store in that mall.. we have them all over too. Cheap place to get earrings. I love those little Christmas stalls, we don't have them here in town, but rather instead in Vancouver which is 60 km away, and we never go there. Too far.. hahaha How did the pad break on the flute? Wear? I really enjoyed this video.... what a beautiful city with so much to see and such gorgeous green spaces. It's amazing isn't it how complacent we get to our surroundings until someone points out what are just so used to seeing. Thanks for sharing.. 🥰
I used to Busk a long time ago. I always enjoyed the direct interaction with the people. I haven't heard a busker for maybe 2 years now. Lovely outdoor shops, and once again so many people about the streets. Here we don't put up our trees until after Thanksgiving on Nov. 26th. I wonder if they will allow Christmas this year?
You guys sure have some nice public transportation. I live in a rural area so we have none. I don't visit really large cities often, but when I have the trains are much dirtier. Is the flute repair expensive? Cardiff is very lovely, thanks for the extensive tour.
Have you ever tried busking in Cardiff? Not too long maybe an hour or two, just to see how much money you can get. Think of it this way, you can get the practice in! :) I always thought about if I would go busking, I'd probably sing and dance to Michael Jackson songs, I still got the moves - but people would probably give me money to stop LOL
I used to go!! When I was very young, 18 or something, I used to busk for about an hour and used to get £20-£30 per hour. I have been starting to think about it actually, though it feels weird to do that again after such a long break. I might, though.
I’d be delighted to when I get an opportunity. I do have a playlist on my channel of Castle vlogs, but it was right at the start of my vlogging and my camera work was very amateur... I think I did the first one on an iPhone 4...
Oh yes, I would eat that Brioche RIGHT NOW! I had Angry Coffee with my daughter yesterday in Portland and attempted to make a video. We had to move along because there were so many street people coming up to us. I gave away all the tangerines I had bought. Also, my audio failed me at the very end. I still might post it.
@@PlanetImo @Imo and Izzy Vlogs I'm sure I went to college with Ninja back in the day. Thank you for the tour of Cardiff, really miss the place and all the parks. It definitely is the greenest city I've ever lived in. Been up in Orkney 4 years now and miss the place, planning a weekend trip to Cardiff (home) in the spring....maybe for a 6 nations game if covid faff allows. Keep up the great vids, love seeing South Wales
No! Ha ha! I auditioned but I didn't get in. It's incredible that they could do this, but they told me I could have a place if A) I bought a 'proper' flute (I was still playing on a £100 second hand instrument into my early 20's which I had passed grade 8 with distinction on, by some miracle, which exceeded the entry requirement) and B) I would have to pay to have lessons before term started. I didn't have the means to pay for either so that was that. I went to Dartington College of Arts instead, which I think was a year later, by which point my mother had bought me a better instrument. I'm still playing on that one today.
Maybe if you attached a GoPro to yourself or a rucksack strap or something then it wouldn't feel as weird filming people on these walk throughs? I can imagine if you're holding a camera out it would be awkward especially as you don't really want to speak over the footage so you can't explain what you're doing. Just an idea.
I have thought about this. I have a chest mount and a head mount, but I do like those walk-through videos where they pause to hone in on things of interest - even things like fancy door knockers, or what's in the shop windows, for example. I decided to stay hand held to give me more flexibility to do that, and also, do an artful swerve with the camera to avoid filming people. I'd still feel a bit wrong just having them in the footage, whether they'd been aware of it or not. Like, REALLY full on prominent, I mean. Thanks though, and you never know - I may yet end up using the mount idea!
Hi, Thanks for you the video. I have an admission from Bedfordshire University Luton and Cardiff University. I am confused about which city is better in terms of finding a part job, cost, safety. Could you please help me out with this? Thanks
Yey! I had been expecting to be able to do a course in Welsh from this September if it hadn't been for A) the pandemic and B) having to pay Izzy's college fees. Maybe next academic year I will. So tempted by Portuguese though. I would LOVE to do a real in-person class in that. Sometimes they run them at Cardiff uni.

Thank you for the lovely tour! What a beautiful city. Nice to have a sunny day.
Thanks for watching. I grew up there and feel disconnected from it during the pandemic.
Awwww I loved this so much! Lived near Cardiff my whole life and I learnt so much from your video, even things I didn’t know existed! 🥰 xx

Lee and I keep saying we want to do the great Weston in to Cardiff when things are more normal. We did it to Bath and it was so fast!!
I miss UK 🇬🇧
I miss travelling!! Which parts of the UK have you visited? Have you lived here?
Oh, and I wouldn’t have wanted to go into the bathroom anyway after someone had taken that time in there....... 😷 😄
Now that's a good point!
Oh I videoed one of those screws in the peak district.
Yes! I remember. x
Hi i watch video...I am from Algeria
That is a beautiful park! How far is that from the Burger King? :)
Which one? All very close indeed a few minutes walk.
You on the train again! Freedom is agreeing with you.

No! But I want to. I do LOVE the Vegetarian Food studio in Riverside, which is not vegan, but has many vegan options.
