Happy Birthday Christian! My father was an engineer for almost 50 years. Despite working around heavy machinery his hearing was good until 4 years ago. The only thing he could never hear was my Mum calling out ‘can you help me with…’ Your hearing is perfect!
Same thing with me. I worked my entire career as a mechanical engineer in manufacturing plant. Had my hearing tested and found that it not good in some frequency ranges. I'm also not complaining - I can't hear my wife nagging! She occasionally suggests I get a hearing aid, but I don't hear that either.
Sunday morning in bed suffering with Covid, you guys always put a smile on my face with your humour. I’m 57 years old and didn’t hear the high pitched noise, but now it makes sense, my gun dog kept bringing his toy pheasant into the bedroom during this episode. 😂❤
Simply brilliant content!!! "We rattle somewhere else at night!" must go down as the best quick aside ever. I've no interest whatsoever in Land Rovers but I wouldn't miss your videos.
More great work Christian. Loving the content and the humour. Don't worry about the people who have nothing better to do than moan. I appreciate the fact you do these videos especially in English. Thank you again 👍
SOOO funny! that ending... had me in stitches. 😂. Great video, and a lot of hard work. All worth it to have that lovely little Freelander back on the road. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Christian for your recent birthday. I am 33 and can hear the high pitch. makes me feel youthful 😂😂😂
Please don't even address the whingers and desktop mechanics, "don't feed the trolls"... I watch every single week, excellent content every single time, I love the interaction between you two, real marriage goals. Don't change a thing, thank you both very much. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Greetings from Canada. We need more closing rants from Christian so he can perfect being a grumpy old man. BTW, I'm only 78.5 years old and I hear you loud and clear.
Hi, 65 years old, cannot hear the noise, love your videos and the methodical process of diagnosing faults. This is my favourite youtube channel, always look forward to Sundays, keep up the great work.
As a person that spent all his working life as a deep sea marine engineer there was no way l was going to hear the high pitch noise . Look forward to your quality work every Sunday despite running a 24 year old Toyota. 1st class please don’t stop.
Happy Birthday Christian, I am 65 and could still hear the high pitch noise from the marter scare device! Keep up the good work, love to watch your videos. (L320 TDV)
Thank you for the Freelander videos! I have a 2001 KV6 that i have been procrastinating about doing the camshaft and timing belts, along with the water pump and oil cooler. You have given me the incentive to go and do them. I have been enjoying all your shows.
What is a squeak between friends no squeak here if I could have, it would not bother me at all the content that you to provide is first class how I wish I lived in your village and was your friend to join the LR Time club my queen would definitely appreciate a king working on her 😊
Sundays just wouldn’t be the same without a Vera & Christian LR video 👍🏻 And a very special happy birthday 🥳 Christian 🤩 I’m 67 I hear 👂 everything just perfectly 👌🏼Love fun Vera as always Stevie 🥰 x🏴

I’m 64 and I can hear the noise. So at least my ears are still working properly. Such as shame everything else on my body now seems to becoming faulty 😢 Great stuff, keep it up!
HI Christian , I am 33 years old (young) and happy that I could still hear that frequency. Five days a week I blast my ears for 1 hour at the max settings of my amplifier and closed back headphones, the noise level is so high that people at 3~5 m away from me come while I'm scrolling on my phone and bother me that " You don't have your headphones plugged in !" . PS: Not complaining , but the high pitch sound was still present in this video.
Such brilliant videos and a great channel. I still don't own a landrover and only watch your channel for the brilliant content and infectious German humour
The CCV filter is often missed in services even when done by dealers. The same CCV valve assembly is used in a BMW M57 525/530D. A filter and gasket set is available so you don't have to replace the housing.
@@grahamepigney8565 The entire top-end of the engine is the same as BMW M47. It's just mounted transversely. Hopefully the swirl flaps have been removed before they get swallowed and gtrenade the engine.
@@k0zzu21 Steyr and Rover adapted the M47D20 to a transverse layout for the Freelander and the Rover 75/ZT. As well as switching to a transverse layour there the M47R had common rail technology, different turbos and improvements to the temperature management to compensate for the issues caused by adopting common rail. I love watching the interchange between the 2 of you. I would give anything if my wife came out with me working on car. I would like to give you both a hug!
I'm surprised how EASY those suspension bolts came out... It is most likely due to your 'mechanic's aura' that intimidates the machine into submission and cooperation. Great work! Keep it coming.
Missed my fix of LR Time on Sunday so I had to get my fix today. Vera and Christian are a great team. Christian usually fixes the issues. Many thanks Vera and Christian for yet another great and entertaining video

I will be 64 yo this month I can hear it. It is 10.5 to 11kHz well within old peoples hearing age! In fact I used around the same frequency to quiten the neighbors dogs. Always love your videos ! 59 and yes I can hear it. Mind you, there are many other tones I cannot hear, but this one drilled deep into my brain - but saw the explanations in the video and just accepted it and still enjoyed the video. Best wishes for a Happy New Year from Allentown, PA USA! 🎉
Happy birthday Christian, when it comes. Im 59 and wouldnt have heard the noise unless it was pointed out. Off to find out why my Disco 1 has no rear lights starting with fuse, then bulbs and hopefully that will be enough😂
