- Celia went chasing after spiritual power through New Age practices but didn't find it fulfilling. After desperately calling out to God with an open heart he revealed himself to her and she gave her life to Jesus. After working in ministry and seeking the gifts of the Holy Spirit, pride had begun to creep in which led to Celia backsliding but through the Grace of Jesus she was again redeemed.

This sister said a lot! The greatest thing she said was to have fear of the Lord. This is lacking in a lot of believers lives. It’s something the Lord has been showing me, I was not fearing Him and showing Him the reverence He deserves. I thank this sister for her candor! Don’t be silly, you are getting it confused. What would the ‘Lord’ want more than ever? -for no one to have any fear. Fear kills the heart. There is only love or fear. Only the wicked should fear the Holy Spirit, because the spirit is that which opposes fear!
@6969SpAcE6969 if you look at the Hebrew in the old testiment where it talks about The fear of the Lord..and to fear God. It's not fear as in afraid dear it's fear as in holding God in the awe and respect that God deserves, it's humility of position, a heart posture of acknowledging how great God is and who he is, how we are nothing great without Him. It helps us to remain humble and to depart from evil and the things which God hates so we can remain obedient and close to His Holiness and His Majesty.Yes, God is Love and there is no fear in love. You can still fear God and have no fear. This is just because English has only one word for fear just like we have only one for love. Check out the Hebrew and Greek root word meaning in the strongs concordance and Psalms 9.20, 19.9, proverbs 1.29, 2.5, 3.7, 8.13, 14.26 & 27, 15.16 Isaiah 11.2 where it talks about one of the Spirits or aspects of the Spirit of God as being The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord representing one of the 7 lamps burning continually before the throne of God. This fear of the lord is actually a gift of God's Spirit and is wisdom from God as oppossed to our own wisdom and is spiritual. As we see in James whomever lacks wisdom let him ask God whom gives liberally, and it shall be given him. Read on to chapter 3 for more about this wisdom that the Bible has already told us is the fear of the Lord in proverbs.

24:53 Last month, God took cigarettes off of me too. Took a few months of prayer, after heartfelt repentance, and daily reading of scriptures, but in just one afternoon, the desire was completely erased from me.

And me! Not cigarettes but I have had trouble overeating lately and prayed for strength for weeks! Was feeling very lethargic and always sleepy or having indigestion! But diligence in prayer is rewarding, one day just felt great! And able to say no… 10lbs down and been only about two weeks since then. God is faithful! Glory to Him for real!

Christians, PLEASE flee from all New Age pagan practices like yoga, reiki, TM, taichi, tattoos, fortune telling, tarot cards, horoscopes, superstitious objects like elephants with trunks up, unicorns, horseshoes, peacock feathers, talismans, dream catchers and hundreds of other objects. Dabbling with all non-Christian practices opens the door to the occult and bring on great destruction to the soul, destruction of all relationships from marriage, sibling rivalry, spouses, relatives, neighbours, financial positions, health conditions, jobs and careers, education etc. Read The Holy Bible regularly if not daily and ask The Holy Spirit to forgive you and guide you to truth and tradition.
I totally relate to her story of being delivered from addiction to smoking cigarettes. God delivered me from alcohol after years of me trying to do it on my own and taking pride in my short triumphs over it. In the end it was God's victory over my addiction. Praise HIM!

How happy I am to hear your testimony. The Lord Jesus spoke to me too and everyone I wanted to hear about my experience looked at me as those I'd lost my marbles. Just like you I thought I was 'okay' with God but after I experienced His presence I knew I'd been in limbo, part of the walking dead. So joyful that you are free and carrying His load now. This happened to me also. The Lord will definitely give you lots of spiritual insight, knowledge, and inlightment when we seek Him, but in this fallen world it always goes back to the beginning of (fear is the beginning of all knowledge) our walk must stay humble. For our own good. We do our best decipling when we want everyone to have the same joy we find in a personal relationship with the Lord. ❤

I was also set free from addictions and It took a lot of heart aches and I have to forgive & have no hate or bitterness in my heart. God is still cleaning my heart out, it’s so awesome to be free and more free everyday!

I found some of Celia's testimony quite jarring. While she was sharing it I could see in my mind's eye a Cinderella spirit that must've been present in her at some stage in her past ie mother dies early, a distant father(daddy issues) and mean step-mother. All this happening in her life at a very young age. I could also see her funny/cheeky spirit shine thru as well. Her struggle to try and do the right thing in her walk with God is no different to any of ours. Hard but worth it

999-trillion oceans of despair and grief.
Rage rapes me.
I feel suicidal.
I don't breathe.
PTSD flashbacks torture and torment me.
I am submerged in frozen darkness.
My soul silently wails.
I am filled with anguish and terror.
I can only pray to die.

Thanks for this testimony. I can relate to how your born again journey with God started and your testimony has answered some questions I had about myself. I remember last year, around January, I started just reading the Bible, and I felt the Holy Spirit ask if He could interrupt my Bible reading. I spent just over 2 months reading Genesis, Romans and Hebrews and I couldn't get enough of it. I lost interest in football (and I was a big football lover), and certain things just fell off me that I had struggled with for more than 20 years. I had known of Jesus and Him being my saviour, but I had to admit that I had never truly made HIm Lord of my life before this. And when I did, I started actually speaking with Him, and it was wonderful. Thanks for revealing the fear of God and how we can ask Him for it: I have to say that I never previously heard we could ask God for it, but thank God I came across your testimony. Thank you.
Oh yes it's kind of hidden in scripture. That we can ask him for it. Solomon alludes to it in his proverbs seek or get wisdom get understanding.. and in Isiah we see that the 7 spirits or flames 🔥 of the Spirit of the Lord are Spirit of understanding, knowledge, the angel of the lord. The fear of the Lord. Spirit of Council of the Lord, Spirit of might of the lord..so we have our understanding and then there is His lol 😆 so to get it we must get it from him also he says if any man lack wisdom let him ask God whom gives freely and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom ❤🎉❤ praise God.

When God changes us, he changes us for inside out. He doesn’t judge us. He changed our lives. He would deliver us what we were before he did it to me many years ago he sent me free and I think God un serving the God Almighty I worship the king of king, Lord Lord, he would never let me know And I hear your testimony keep up the faith keep going to church and you are praise God yes I Chicago I pray for a lot of people people that don’t even know because I don’t know what they’re going through. They’re down they’re sick they say there’s no, there is Jesus we all have to learn is to trust God always to put our eyes on God. God never will fail. I had too many people put their eyes on the Pastor woman Man they put your eyes down take it off your eyes put your eyes on God they gonna fail, but God never fails. I always put my trust in God always cause God never failed me. He never did anything to prayer he answer and new time and do season today, any questions comments back you got a question I’ll try to answer OK I’ve been serving God for a long time. Oh yes, yes, I do some traveling here and there speaking a lot of local churches not all the time with the way that things are going on with this world, but I do pray for people I might not reach out where they’re at at this moment, but I can reach out is praying for them. They were helpful.❤

Look how hard it was for her to abide with Jesus? I have come from spiritual darkness and esoteric practices and addictions, which have confused me no end.
All I can do now is look to Jesus - and pray the Holy Spirit illuminates my mind heart and deeds because I genuinely haven’t got a clue what I’m doing. My mind is consistently playing tricks on me. But when I surrender in prayer, or read the bible, understanding eventually comes and peace is instant. Be still and know God. We have no life outside of him. Intimacy is exactly the only thing I can work on right now. Intimacy and obedience where I can. My mind goes so far as to confuse what the scriptures mean or are saying to the point I don’t know. But essentially when that happens I admit i am blind and poor and reach out my hands to God. God’s mercy and God’s grace: please do not forsake me. I am lost without you
