Glad this channel exist as well. Most commercials nowadays are unfunny, lame, and unacceptable. 80's and 90's commercials are funny, exciting, and even epic.
Mr. "80'sCommercialVault" steadily continues to wow me/us with his brilliance with editing & ability to teleport us back in his very well constructed time machine/capsules👍...take another bow👏👏👏

Hi, I hope you have some more of those old KTVU Commercials since I grew up here in the San Francisco bay area. These brought back lots of memories when I was just a kid growing up in 86. Well, I still live here in the San Francisco bay area. These were the days before it turned into Fox in 88. Thanks for taking us all down memory lane with your videos.
The recording here was from one of about 50 tapes that were generously donated to me...nearly all of them were recorded in the SF Bay Area, and a majority of them were recorded from KTVU. I will be posting the contents of these tapes for the next few months...it might even take a year to post all of it!
80sCommercialVault that’s awesome. I really don’t care how long it takes. I just love your commercial videos. I have been subscribed to your channel for the past few years. I have even seen your videos from other states from other channels such as CBS, ABC, and Fox and other channels for mother states. Even some of the cable channels like the USA network, TBS, and TNT Just to name a few. Once again, thank you so much.
PG&E...before Enron's "Death Star" scheme. I'm not sure, but I think Taco Bell still hasn't won the promised "Franchise Wars." "Saffola tastes...better" still stuck in my head after 33 years. 33 years later, M*A*S*H still airs on MeTV at 7 and 7:30 PM. Wow, that Stevie Wonder Drunk Driving PSA really stuck in my head all these years. You've got to wonder what that 15 month old baby (now probably 33 years old) is doing now, minus a mother? $399 to Europe...how times have changed! That being said, international travel is a lot nicer with movies and video games on the little seatback screens. MJB...I remember getting some of this coffee when I moved out of my mom's house, and realizing I shouldn't have, because it was weak and repulsive coffee. AirCal was cheap air travel before it was cool.
@4:57 At first, I thought the little girl was...Britney Spears. But Spears would've only been 5 or 6 at the time this aired. But this girl LOOKS familiar.

Oh yes.. KTVU again. Love it. I'm completely transported in time!
"And Saffola tastes... better." Well, I'm convinced.
The guy in the Safeway commercial is Peter Jason. He was in some of John Carpenter's movies along with a bunch of other stuff.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I was recognizing him from "They Live".
Randy Lawson Good eye!

It isn't Brian Dennehy someone commented the actor's name already. His name is Peter Jason

7:18 - Such an odd and strangely sinister laugh to end an airline commercial on...
