- DJ Gerry visit’s London’s Hard Rock Hotel, a few days before this legendary hotel closes it’s doorway forever. The former Cumberland Hotel near the Marble Arch was some of the music industry’s brightest stars including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan’s favorite London hotel!!
In recent years, the Hard Rock Hotel got a reputation for being dated and overpriced.
When the pandemic took it’s toll financially, it only made the economic struggle worse. If the Hard Rock Hotel closed in Vegas, it was sure to struggle in other places as well.

Unfortunately, the Hard Rock Hotel chain has not been doing well financially for a while. It got a reputation for being dated and overpriced. When the pandemic hit in 2020, it only caused more economic hardship.
What the heck did why they shut its doors. Bummer
That particular one didn’t make enough $$. They have two other Hard Rock Cafes left in London.
i stayed there one night in 83 when it was the Cumberland & my abiding memory was of all the sex workers waiting for the rich the tourists
Wow, the guests there now are a little old for that activity. Those workers must be congregating elsewhere.
@@77DJ961 from what little i saw of them they( sex workers) were not that young but they all had dead eyes
