Nice video, love the Vibergs. The simple clean design and exceptional leather selection set them apart in my opinion. I'm in the SDPT (first time) wearing a pair of 2030's in Oak Chromepak. They look great for two months in. Good luck and enjoy them!
These are gorgeous man, I love vibergs I just wish the 2030 last fit me unfortunately that almond shaped don't just doesn't work for me. Glad to see you back though man!
When’s the last time you tried them? I thought the same thing based off an old pair I had but the newer stuff is actually really round! Might be worth a shot again if you get something 2021 or newer
@@trinityhandmade3864 yeah I may have to check them out again, I have found I really like their 2040 last for my foot, just not alot of makeups unfortunately. The only other boot last that I really like for my foot shape is the Elston from OSB, finding a comfy last can be a struggle man! Lol
Awesome vid! So I have a couple of boots with dainite that have worn significantly more than some others that I have worn way more. Im wondering if that lot of rubber was "soft" or the mixture was off. Glad you didn't make just a 5min video and went into depth. Its great to hear more. Got some rowdys and my cap toes look like yours in regards to creasing. Good luck in the dome
Look very similar to mine, I have an older pair. May even be the same leather but mine are not lined inside. Great video. I will look into doing the same thing one day. The competition that is.
You could use Saphir Gentle Cleanser to remove some of the Black Rock. Then Saphir Medaille D'or 1925 Oiled Leather Cream in Neutral. It won't darken an Oil Tanned boot. Isn't so shiny and they will go Matte after a few wearings. The ingredients are refined Neatsfoot Oil, Refined Apricot Oil, and emulsified Beeswax. The Beeswax wears off rather quickly though. Whatever's in the Gentle Cleanser Smells like Cocoa.
Hey man. I dig your videos. Those vibergs have some great patina! I’m kind of new to boots but I have similar tastes. I have a viberg 310 in Dublin and then a viberg 2040 in cf regency. I have a whites Sherman on the way in w&c Latigo. I was hoping to see an update on your latigos but it likes like you moved them on. Many thanks for sharing your love and passion. Cheers!
Hey Trevor! Awesome collection for a newbie! Yes I did end up selling the Nicks, the color ended up being just a bit too bright for me, otherwise they were fantastic boots. Cheers man I bet those Sherman’s come out great.
Love these! I’ve been following them, and they are aging perfectly. I’m doing Viberg 2030 Country boots from Brooklynclothing. Loving my pair as well, but they aren’t changing as drastically as yours I think. Nice choice, and they look like some of the top contenders to me.
Thanks so much Nathan! Good luck to you man, I think I just purely lucked out this a leather that changes easily and dramatically, I wore my whites harder than these last year and even after 7 months they looked less patinad than these do now!
Great looking boots. I'd love to get a pair of their service boots, but vexed by the 2030 last. It seems that all of their service boots are built on an E width. Are all Canadians hobbits? I need a D width but it seems that their 2020 last is not offered on a service boot. Or, what am I missing?
Have you tried a 2030 yet? I am a C width and get along just fine with the 2030. I find them to be no wider than an American D width. Plus even if they are a touch wider, don’t let that scare you having room for your foot to properly splay out as your walk and your foot widens throughout the day is not a bad thing. Give them a shot
Not liking the toe. Goes to a high point when the laces end, then a sleek portion, then a bump for the toe cap, then sleek smooth again. Very ugly to me.
Idk, I just can't get into the toe cap look like that once broken in. A uniform round toe just looks so much better.
Room for both!
The man is back!!
I don’t know if I’d say that, but I’m back today at least 😂

That leather looks great! I’ll find you on the app and follow, good luck!
Nice boots Jimmy. Great to see you back making videos.
Thanks!!

It’s a ton of fun you should do it!

Are you still working on making your own boots?
I made a full test pair then put the stuff away for a while. Life is just too busy but I’ll pick it back up some day
