It looks empty out there but it'll be soon pack it's good that people are starting to go out more I remember when it was covid nobody was out there I'm happy things are getting to normal you're still an awesome fishermen and we're still seeing your videos me and my kids always see it
Thanks for taking the time to click and see what happens. I go during the week and usually 8 out of 10 times it’s pretty much not busy compared to the weekend.
Thanks, them gators do their best to be never seen. I’ve been going for years and never seen one . I believe there’s like 7 of them in the lake. They stay at the back of the lake away from people and noise. Yes give it a try sometime 👊🏽
Dang bro when you said you were going to fish, I didn’t think you were going to get into the water lol.. nice catch those were some nice reds. That’s a nice area to fish is that the lake near San Antonio?
Thanks for checking it out. I started around 730am I believe and I usually stay till maybe one in the afternoon if I’m bank fishing. It just depends on the bite! The early bite is always the best .
If you go on the weekends got to get there early early early early. They open up at six and usually there’s cars in line at 4:30 in the morning already. Head on shrimp and fishbites! Or 3 inch live tilapia or perch!
@@Fishin4Trophies okay great. That’s for the heads up. I didn’t think it would be that busy but I get it. Is there much of an afternoon bite? Really the weekend are my only mornings to get out there.
I believe so! If your talking about catching reds from the bank in November I have had plenty luck using live shad and tilapia. I remember last year wading out to cast the line. The weather should still be perfect like it is today! I would like to know how it went when you go!
From the bank I get snagged if I fish with a double leader with two hooks. I fish on the right side of park like around table 6 and 8 with one Hooke leader. Rarely get snagged.
I do! I’m so glad there’s regulations out there. I always thank the Game Wardens when I see them for being out there checking fish and fishing license.
Being from Corpus I always go there to fish. Or fish the Galveston area. But I been here in San Antonio for like 6 years. Not once fished Calaveras. I need to try it. Have no idea where to go but I'm sure I can figure it out
Penn battle 2 combo from Bass Pro with size 5 or 6 circle hooks mostly on a t knot 🪢 leader. I’ll be back to posting soon my getting New equipment thanks for watching 🔥👊🏽

I'd be terrified to wade out there with the gator in the lake. Great video brotha, I'll have to try for some reds sometime.

What rod and reel setup do you use
I just use the penn battle 2 combo with 20 pound mono.

I would say Monday thur Thursday. Early early morning fishing till 12 at least!

What table you at
Table 7 but fished to the left of it!
We go there and fish them in our kayaks.
I love fishing for reds in kayaks also! Awesome!
My favorite lake for years for Reds and hybrids. But I don't wade since the alligators moved in. I'm too chicken s$#t for that.
I’ve never seen one. But I know they are there!
Nice fish , how to call the name of fish
Thanks, called Red Drum
Have you encounter a alligator?
Never!
