Nice routine. One suggestion for anyone reading: with Cat and Cow it’s really helpful to synchronize the breathing with the spinal flexion/extension. Inhale when you drop the belly and push the chest forward. Exhale when you round the back and push the floor away. I’ve been teaching Yoga for 13 years and one of the greatest benefits people gain from Yoga practice is learning how to breathe properly while moving.

Thanks for highlighting this cue. Deep breathing allows further ROM to make every stretch more effective.

Wow, I've done a bunch of different mobility/stretching routines but this one felt like a "body healing routine". I feel more limber and robust immediately after doing this follow along. I'll definitely do this one again

With only 20 minutes, choosing the right movements is key. Quality over quantity is the message here, do a few things well and you'll feel great.

@@FitnessFAQsThis concept can also be applied in even smaller chunks of time. I always feel much better when I do even 1 minute of quality mobility during breaks from sitting for example. I'll usually know what movement my body is craving just by paying attention to how it feels.

This was a great workout to start the day. Really appreciate the content. Having a desk job all of these stretches really help. Also, I really like the format of one person explaining while the other is following along.

General movements are a nice way to start the day. What's most important for a warm-up is the specific exercises you plan to do.

How to fix shoulder impingement? Should I just rest and stop training completely for a while or should I do some rehabilitation work? I can do pullups it's not that bad, but i can feel pain in my left shoulder when I do heavy bench press.

Consistent mobility work and exercise. I had the same issue, but the resistance band warmup he uses for his Body by Rings program has worked wonders for my pain; highly recommend it

Are you sure, stretching benefits you? Is it destretching tight muscles or is it *elongating* your tissues? Is not your musclestrength the subject of all of your movements? Why exactly do you stretch? Is it about your fascia? Ligaments?
    Please help me understand!
    Alle the best, brother!
