I really shouldve turned my volume down, was doing homework and had earbuds on full blast. Sent my pencil flying across my room XD
I even turned down the volume for the desktop before I recorded this lol
Nice guide!
Thanks!
Here’s a horn suggestion for you. Putting an RS5T-RRO on an ex seaboard engine or making a fouled K5LLA for your NS ACEs
I notice the MSTS horns don’t make great horns for looping because of how the horn starts slower where it would loop when doing short blasts where it sounds not so smooth. I use your horn files from the site you made from Discord. I love how they sound too. MSTS had the horns play delayed like when the button is pressed you heard it a second or so later and couldn’t do quick blasts well they were slow to play the horn sound was pressed by the button.
Do you know how one might convert a v2 xsb xwb horn to .wav? I'm looking for the original P3R4 horn from Run8 version 2.
Great my bro 👍
What is of name the program ?
Do you think you’d be able to release some of the horns you’ve made? They all sound really nice!
I have released some of them already. Follow that link in the description and I can send you some on Discord
Hell again (Chris?)--Could you possibly add a Holden M3H to your horn files? Canadian Pacific used them on their FP9A units. They may seem dated; but they're a powerful; great sounding horn. If you can....Thanks.
I've done a couple of Nathan M3s but not a Holden. I can look around and see if I can find a good one to do
Sorry--I didn't notice the missing "o." Hell again? Not in this case!
@@NSHorseheadSD70 That would be be great. I'll check back periodically.
Possible silly question: If I've done things correctly; how should the end of a three second R-8/V3 blast sound? (I've got a continuous loop.) Mine sounds good; but I'm not sure if it's as it should be. It just seems to be ever so slightly "off" compared to the real world. Reason:(?) A couple of my steps were a bit different than yours. When I dragged the horn file into Audacity--(1) Two identical; complete wave files appeared; one above the other. Both have the fade at the tail. (2) After "selecting"--I exported the ".wav" file right into my Run8 horn menu. Backing up one step: After creating a new folder in my C-drive file section; I had a "cannot change file" message I could not get around. That's when I decided to try going directly into the horn menu. It worked.
The horn files are supposed to be a certain bit rate and are supposed to be mono, not stereo. The horn creation PDF in the user guide folder explains this. That might be why you had an issue
@@NSHorseheadSD70 Thank you. BTW--I forgot to thank you for the horn files. Good of you to share them w/ us. Thx :)
@@Brian-kl1zu No problem! Glad you're enjoying them
Does it matter what kind of graphics card you used to play the game?
I have an Nvidia 970 that's 7 years old and still get good performance
Crossing bells, do they have to be less 10 seconds? I made crossing bells, only 1 plays
I've never dabbled with them. I'd recommend taking the originals and seeing how long they are to compare them
can you send me some horns you made for v3?
Big Baboon
What?
