For those who say this situation and her dementia is her “karma”; plenty of people are in her line of work but don’t end up like this. Bruce Willis has the same type of dementia, and countless others. Health problems don’t constitute as “karma” and it is ableist and overall trashy to see it that way.

I don’t understand why it can’t be karmic in nature? Karma isn’t saying “she deserves it,” maybe that’s how some people intend to say it but that’s not how karma actually is.
Karma is created by our choices. Poor choices accumulate to poor outcomes. In this case she surrounded herself with people who didn’t actually care for her. This is a time when she needs a lot of care and healing and I hope she finds a way to receive it.
It’s financial abuse and it’s very malicious. It’s also emotional and mental abuse. They’re stealing from a sick person.
Banks can report elder abuse. We're trained to identify it.
I can see the banks POV. Both of my parents had dementia and my brother was very vulture like and was always trying to get money from my parents knowing they were incapacitated mentally. If the family drains the bank accounts, they could be liable. I do commend the bank - my parents bank assigned a money manager and put everything in a trust away from my brother and my parents were safe
My aunt did the same thing to my grandma before putting her in a nursing home. There were times my grandma would try to withdraw money to buy something for herself, and her bank account would be empty. So horrible that people do that crap to their own parents.

Karma is not always a bad thing. Sometimes is the way to learn our lessons and fix whatever we need to fix, for something we did either in this life or in a previous one, in order to move on to a higher spiritual level. It could also be that the other parts involved are also sorting out their own karma through the same situation. Praying for her!

She has dementia. Both my grandmothers have gone through it. It’s so frustrating when people refuse to believe how serious and intense things are gonna get as the illness progresses.

The judge in this case received campaign funds from lawyers, who specialize in guardianships. Which is legal, because this was prior to Wendy’s case….but it does create a seed of doubt about motive now between the judge and lawyer, IMO. This is just sad all the way around. I hope this goes in Wendy’s favor.

Wasn't her greedy ex her manager? I don't even trust the current manager. I get the feeling her family had good intentions but were kept in the dark or pushed away until the key players/stealers saw they had bitten off more than they could chew. I think all the stress, pain, grief and isolation caused an already addictive personality to drink to the point of damaging her body. I pray she makes a come back and shows everyone she's not crazy.
