what I love about this couple is nothing too dramatic about them, they fell in love easily enough, their camaraderie is smooth and has so much ease and comfort. Uk treats he like a friend first before a lover, they talk to each other like equals. As his master she is harsh but she also knows when to pull back and be his guide and soul mate. Uk is not your stereotypical male lead, he is quirky, funny, charming, charismatic, he is not sacrificial hero just takes things as they come along and does his best. Nakus is not some vengeful hateful killing machine, she is genuine, adaptable, forgiving and best she knows how to value relationships.
Uk's confession lines are always so damn smooth

What I love most about this couple they both have a sense of humour, it is not all angst, they can share a good laugh and not take things too seriously.
Uk is setting the standard high out here. He's literally saying that Mudeok doesn't need to dress up for him, he will. He knows her thought with just one look and can immediately make her feel comfortable. Pls, I pray for them to be the endgame.

Yes ! and the netizens who were saying about Jung Somin had NO chemistry 😔with Lee Jae Wook , didn´t understand the story,The Dragon warrior💥 with her cunning mind, cold ,almost heartless💔 sometimes, melted for JangUk slowly her heart❤💯 . She was not easily won, but when she was madly in love with him❤. she opned like a flower. 🌺 Thats why the change of actress didn´t work for me in Season2 , S2 has his own audience romcom lovers 💮, but S1 audience was from a different kind . 🤩
My favorite bickering married couple. I love how they are at their happiest and most comfortable when they are with each other. And Uk’s sincerity always disarms her (and makes me melt.)

@@satadhi I've watched a ton of kdramas. N I don't think she's in the top tier in terms of recognition. But she's an amazing actress. She's only in her early 30s. Most of the more recognized actresses are either older or idols.

at my age, i ve watched countless drama. but this is the first time i am rewatching an episode in its entirety before the drama is over. Ep 18 is so enjoyable esp the last scene. even though its their second kiss, i still scream.

I don’t mind GYJ playing the fl in S2 as long as it’s really a prequel and not a sequel since that will make more sense.
You're right about season 2 but I hope it's not a prequel. I don't like prequels as I know way too much ahead of time. I would much rather prefer a continuation of the story somehow, where maybe the actress who plays Naksu gets her body back and attempts to punish the people that did her wrong.

Hopefully Ep. 20 ends with Jang Uk and Mu Deok sitting/standing on top of the 🌳🪺 with both of their jade glowing. Then from there on they will have a conversation about their childhood and that’s when it jumps to Season:2.👍🏽.
