Thanks for the Great Review! Previously, we used to see trolling/lower RPM range and fuel consumption data. Sad to see them gone. Regarding the 470 Sky, I found it strange, that the most efficient cruising speed is 22 knots and not around 12-15 kts which would be closer towards the mentioned 10.8 knot minimum planning speed...

Diesels like to be ran at around 80% throttle. Not 10%

@@blewyd Interesting. So for longevity and reliability purposes, trucks do not run 10-20% throttle on highways, but on 80% (since that's what they like), right? The reason I am asking, because those D6 Volvos ARE automotive/truck engines.

@@attilat8879 yes. Diesels like to be ran at higher RPMs that is why it is not good for diesels to be idling for a while.

@@blewyd I wonder, how these non-American boat channels and manufacturers still haven't heard about that famous "Diesels can't be long range trolling" wisdom yet... (Meanwhile, I leave the cup holder counting test and rather follow more informative boat channels.
